I've been talking about this for a while. The difference in Packer fans and Favre fans is huge.

We don't need the Favre fans back. If they wise-up in the future and realize they're cheering for the mediocre Jets... well, too bad.

There's only a handful of them HERE so I don't see the big deal. I have to try to ignore their trollocity though. It's hard, especially when I'm drinking.

I don't think being wise has a lot to do with them being Favre fans. I'm a huge Favre fan and if anyone wants to doubt that, check out the downloads section and know the history behind why I spent hundreds of dollars for a recorder and spend MANY hours making them. It started with Favre.

BUT, Although I am a Favre fan, I've read every quote and watched every interview of his in the last few years that I could. I'm not sure on the WHY, but I'm darn near convinced after he retired and then said he had the itch to play and McCarthy and Thompson didn't do cartwheels. That very moment, he decided he wanted out of Green Bay and there was no turning back. Hence, him acting like a child on the Greta Van Stickyface interview.

What I have liked about this site for the few days that I have been here is that, unlike that other site, there aren't 50 threads talking about hating TT. Here most of all the topics are about the TEAM that is the Green Bay Packers.

exactly. I think Brett was not fully committed to coming back until he was told "No". Then he had a burning desire to play again.
I think AR is the long term future of the Packers and I supported him as the starting QB for GB after Brett annouced his retirement but I sure wish Brett could have committed whole heartedly to GB back in March or April and we could have watched him 1 more year.

It almost seems as though Favre wants to prove the Packers wrong.
I think that is what is driving him now. Which if thats so, that a poor reason to play. I think that will wear off quickly.
Of course i don't KNOW if thats the case, i'm just guessing. But his desire to join up with one of our division teams, JUST so he can play us, to me at least, backs up what I'm thinking.

Well now that he's a Jet his bloodlust for beatin' Green Bay has probably subsided. The only way these two teams is in the Super Bowl.

Strictly from Brett's perspective, it's understandable why he's mad at Green Bay -- they didn't want him back (at least early on -- and yes the tune changed when they'd "accept" him back but they didn't "want" him back, per se).

I'm not trying to open the Favre/TT/Packers/Murphy-Can-O-Worms. I'm just saying, strictly from his perspective the frustration/anger is understandable.

He's a competitor. I can't hold that against him.
William Henderson didn't have to run people over. His preferred method was levitation.

Yea, that's what the Packers were thinking the entire time. They actually did not believe he'd show up for camp. I'm guessing that was one of his main reasons to go to the Vikings...to basically show the Packers up twice a year. I hope he actually wants to play and the anger has subsided. The talk with MM had to help ease Favre's pain of being not wanted back.
The Pack Will Be Back.

Zero2Cool (16h) : oops meant $10m cap hit
Zero2Cool (16h) : And pre june is $10m savings

Zero2Cool (11-Mar) : Do Ravens have anything we'd even entertain to have?
Mucky Tundra (11-Mar) : I've seen trade ideas of Jaire going to the Ravens all offseason
beast (11-Mar) : A probably false rumor is suggesting CB Jaire Alexander is being traded to the Ravens, again probably false
beast (11-Mar) : Commanders might have a dominant offense the next 3 years at least
Zero2Cool (11-Mar) : San Francisco 49ers announced they have released DL Leonard Floyd.
