In particular:

"I understand it to some point if I put myself into a Favre fanatics shoes, Rodgers said of getting booed. The things I cant understand, the things I really take personally, is when Im driving up to the (parking lot) gate and punching in my punch code and somebody says (expletive) you to me. That kind of bothers me. Or when a little kid is yelling swear words at me. That kind of gets to me.

The boos, they expect a high level of play and they miss Brett Favre. I understand that. But the (expletive) you and the little kids saying swear words to me, I dont understand that.

Rodgers said it had happened to him about a half-dozen times. Asked how he responds to such things, he said:

What can you do? Do people really feel better about themselves after they say stuff like that to me? Its disappointing. Im not too dumb; Im not going to say anything back to them. Its not my style; its against my religion.

I seriously think I might take a break and head over to camp for a day.. and honestly, I have no problem telling the parents of these kids what I think.. that is an embarrassment to all of us.

Crazy.

These fans are more of an embarrassment than the whole charade that just ended. Makes me feel ashamed, we are all going to have to get used to this new situation, its not easy for Aaron neither. Hopefully this will be a motivator or him and the rest of the team.
I am a woman and I love football.

Sad. But it's not just little kids doing it. It's adults as well, and that's whats really sad. Real mature, ya know? Don't they have anything better to do? There are many more important things to get upset and passionate about.

It's sad. It's sad that Packer fans would act this way. I understand venting frustrations on forums, blogs, or talk radio but harassing players is ridiculous.

This is at the point where I think Packer Nation has taken a major character hit.

That's pretty disgusting. Why someone would take the time to hang by the parking lot just to cuss out the starting QB is beyond me (maybe in Chicago but Green Bay?). It's certainly not his fault Favre is gone and like it or not if you're a fan you kinda want AR to do OK.

Of course the same "fans" will still be there after they're 3-0 want autographs from him...

Anyone who would hang out in a parking lot to tell a player "F.U." is pretty pathetic if you ask me. Same goes for the parents who allow their kids to yell swear words at the players.

Sad ... Sad ... Cursing your own QB how low are these brett favre fans, let's just get one thing straight guys hope everyone's reading this post lool

There are 2 groups in Green Bay now :

1- Group Number 1 : Green Bay Packer Fans
2- Group Number 2 : Brett Favre Fans

Group Number 2 fans aren't and will never be considered as Packers Fans cause you stick with your team with any decision made good bad or ugly

Shame on you Group Number 2, even me I love Brett Favre, but what happened happened and theirs nothing your cursing's and complaining would do except screw up the actual packer players. Anyways hope rodgers wins a SB so he could shut these fans up

You have to realize that a lot of (maybe "most") Packer fans have been fans for less than 15 years. That means Brett is the only Green Bay QB they've ever known. For many, he's the reason they became fans in the first place.

Their reactions are unfortunate and irrational, and their antagonism toward Aaron is certainly misguided, but it's a little more understandable if you look at it from their point of view. Brett Favre is the only reason for being for a whole generation of Packer fans.

Some of them will follow him to New York. Some will lose all interest in football. A very few will hang around Green Bay just out of spite. But their spleens will soon be vented, and they will find some other icon to cling to.

The bottom line is that, soon enough, the people who were Favre-firsters (as much as I hate that label) will be gone. And not missed.

dfosterf (26-Jun) : I think it would be great to have someone like Tom Grossi or Andy Herman on the Board of Directors so he/they could inform us
dfosterf (26-Jun) : Fair enough, WPR. Thing is, I have been a long time advocate to at least have some inkling of the dynamics within the board.
wpr (26-Jun) : 1st world owners/stockholders problems dfosterf.
Martha Careful (25-Jun) : I would have otherwise admirably served
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Also, no more provision for a write-in candidate, so Martha is off the table at least for this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot
dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy is on my ballot subject to me penciling him in as a no.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : I thought it used to be we voted for the whatever they called the 45, and then they voted for the seven, and then they voted for Mark Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?

Mucky Tundra (10-Jun) : How's the ayahuasca tea he makes, Martha?
