1. Clifton
2. Tauscher
3. Rodgers
4. Woodson
5. Collins
6. Williams
7. Grant
8-10...Finley/Jennings/Driver

We saw last year what happened to Aaron Rodgers without Clifton/Tauscher, That is why I put them at the top. Looks like we have much better depth this year on the O-line, but I'm hoping we don't have to find out anytime soon.

Clifton - Colledge - Wells - Sitton - Tauscher with Flynn at QB would be better than

Bulaga - Colledge - Wells - Sitton - Lang with Rodgers at QB?

I think if we lose any defensive starters we could be hurting, and if we lose the lineman we will also be in trouble as proven last year.

But if we lose Zero we won't get to watch the games so maybe I should move him to #1 🙂
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

1. Rodgers - season is done without Rodgers. It is over. Period.
2. Woodson - Scary to say this, but he's almost as important as Rodgers. Note that I am knocking on wood every time I say a name.
3. Collins - This guy may be a perennial All Pro and our Darren Sharper (I know everyone likes to hate Sharper, but ask the Saints how valuable Sharper is to their team).
4. Cliffy - Is our rookie ready to protect Aaron's blind side? Well, is he? Honest question. I'd rather not find out.
5/6. Gregorious/Driver - Both WRs have established good chemistry with Rodgers. Driver brings Veteran leadership although Gregorious is a better WR right now. I'm a strong believer in morale though so I put Driver up there because of what he brings to the table in that respect.
7. Finley - He's going to be a safety valve for Rodgers in 2010 and will be for years.
8. CM3 - When Matthews sacks, drive ends. The more drives he can kill, the better our chances are.
9. Nick Barnett - Underappreciated by Packers fans. The only reason why he hasn't bee in the Pro Bowl yet is because there are too many good MLBs in the NFC.
10. Ryan Grant - Also underappreciated by Packers fans. Quietly picks up tons of yards. Doesn't fumble. As someone who watched every Vikings game, I saw how important "doesn't fumble" is. Don't take this kid for granted, folks. He's the real deal, and he's a nice kid.

I'm noticing alot of people having Rodgers at #1 but I don't think it would be the end of the season if he did go down. I know we wouldn't put all the points and yards on the board but with this offense I think Flynn could still manage the team and collect wins. I think the tackles or Woody are by far the #1's I would hate to lose.

There are a lot of people who think he has the potential to be the MVP this year, and although I see what you're saying from the "our depth is good" perspective, how can you not have one of the most valuable players in the league be one of the most valuable on your team?

On that note, Woody was just the defensive MVP, so he needs to be in the top 2, as he is for I think everyone who has posted in this thread.

Rodgers is an elite QB. QB is the most important position in the NFL. We are an Offensive Team. Unless Drew Brees, Brett Favre, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, or Philip Rivers is our #2 QB, our season would be done if we lost Rodgers.

Or maybe we could coax Kurt Warner out of retirement.

EDIT: Just saw what Musccy said. I am one of them who think Rodgers has as good a shot as anyone for the MVP in '10.

I'm in no way trying to disrespect Rodgers but I believe that if we lose Woody, Collins, or either tackle would be more damaging than losing Rodgers. We lose any of the secondary we are dead look at last year. We lose either tackle we are dead because than it would be a good chance we lose Rodgers.

Woody or Collins are the only 2 I can see making an argument for. I disagree still, but I think it's a close argument, esp. considering our depth. Sam Shields could be a starter if Woody goes down, that's frightening!

As for the secret service analogy, true that the president trumps all, but as we saw last year (esp. in bears opener), some secret service agents would effectively jump in front of a bullet, while others would trip over their own 2 feet or not know how to tie their own damn shoes.
