I doubt it will happen, but I would not be surprised to see Matt Flynn get traded. Not because we don't want him, but because someone else wants him enough to make it worth our while.

Do you think Graham Harrell is ready to be the #2 QB? I sure don't. So unless a capable backup QB is part of the deal, I don't think it would be wise to trade Flynn. And of course there would have to be another player traded to the Packers to make such a deal worthwhile--otherwise they would just be swapping one capable backup QB for another. Is Flynn worth so much that he could be traded for a capable backup QB AND a good player at some other position? I think that would be a tough sell and also pretty disruptive to the team with the regular season just about to start.
When the Packers have traded away QB's (Brunell, Detmer, Brooks, Hasselbeck--man, there were a lot of them) in the past, they have usually felt pretty good about their #3 guy.

I wouldn't like it, but Ted kicked Craig Nall to the curb and replaced him with two rookies behind Rodgers.
Like you said, I don't see it happening. I don't think we'll get enough in return at this point and going with Harrell would be way too risky.

Excellent point about Nall and rookies.
I don't think we go anywhere with Flynn and if we can get a solid player in return, I wouldn't be surprised to see it happen. Flynn doesn't have a deep arm and without that, he's not a threat to cover deep, which will take away our short passing game and I think nullify our running game.
I like Flynn, for a game or two, nothing more though.
