While I don't care about wins or loses in the preseason, I was surprised to see how one sided the preseason game against the Rams went.. Yes, it was against the Rams, but I was impressed with 2 Vikings in particular.. Garret Mills, TE and Logan Payne, WR. I was specifically interested in Payne's success because he's a fellow Minnesotan and I followed him pretty closely at the UofMN.

Also, looking at the box score was really shocked to see Sage's numbers... 23 of 34, 310 yards and 3 TDs. Not that it's indictive of anything.. but was still surprised.

I forgot to mention really sloppy 2nd team offensive line play. I think it was their first or second series and they got penalized every play. It was really bad.

I guess I understand showcasing Sage for a trade, but I would think that they would have played T-Jack more. It just seemed kind of odd with Brett still undecided.

I'd send a sixth rounder to Minnesota for Sage. Flynn hasn't entirely convinced me yet.

I think if Brett comes back there is a pretty good possibility that Sage will get released outright.

No, if Sage is the odd man out if Brett 'returns'.. He'll be traded. I've seen and heard a few rumblings about it.. which would explain why he got the majority of the snaps last night.
