After nearly seven months of football-less weekends, specifically Green Bay Packers-less football, preseason game number 1 is almost here.  Tonight, the Packers host the Arizona Cardinals at Lambeau Field.  The two teams squared off last season, with the Packers coming away with the victory.  Unless they meet in the postseason, these two teams will not see [...]

article mentions the kicking game -
wish we could someone new in instead of this travechio guy - don't like a weak footed guy. Even right now thinking about Crosby kicking a game winning field goal makes me wince. Remember last season where we just wouldn't go for the 'easy' field goal because we didn't know how Crosby would do ... don't need that again.

Isnt there anyone out there better then these 2 guys? - was talking to my wife and she used to play gaelic football - she said everyone needed to know how to kick on the team ... anyways.

I really wanted to see how lacy would do in a 'real' game ... but guess we can see how the other guys will do first.

Be cool to watch all these guys tomorrow. Lots of potential.

There will be other guys on the wire. I am not overly concerned but you would like one of the kickers here to stand out more, preferably Crosby, if they can I agree.

My key is offensive line. Can we find a backup to play on this line other than Barclay?

I liked Lane Taylor coming out of college, Datko won't play but i'm hoping he'll get better throughout this month. Right now it's up to Van Roten to prove himself.
