Ahh... this has been, IMO, the best discussion of the young season.. thank you all for carrying it out and stating very valid but opposing opinions.. I am getting drawn back into football mode.. just what I needed.

Yes he has been living off bonus money and prorated salaries when he has been occupying the PUP or been on the 53 or been on IR.

If he gets hurt we will be on the hook for his salary again this season.. but if we cut him now.. we are out little.. his bonus money was long ago spent.

Anyway.. for me.. this is a thread I needed to get jacked up for the season again.. I was lagging along.. thanks again for the healthy non Favre debate.

Great Post "Z" As always.

This is what it all boils down to on this great site.

BTW. I am predicting, right now, right here, that Justin makes the Pro Bowl this year... and Everyone here who bashed him, will say they never really bashed him at all.

If he makes the ProBowl, I will be the first one posting here that I misjudged the kid.

On the other hand, if he makes the 53-man roster and ends up on IR somewhere around week 6, or so, I'll be more than a little miffed.

But what do they know? They're probably just typical Ted Thompson haters/Favre lovers. #sarcasm

Did someone really say that or are you just doing that thing?

I hear he's had a pretty good camp. Nothing mind blowing. I'd rather have him sitting out than being on his back with another injury. We're gonna need the depth this season so if he can give us 1 game or 19, I'm all for it.

I don't expect much from him and anybody who does is probably insane but I'm not gonna rag on him for this. I'm sure he'll give us something to rag on him for soon enough but this? Nah.

Ted and Mike... make a statement early in this camp and cut this cat... I know the depth on the defensive line is a question.. but speak to your team through actions and end this nonsense.

Ironic that Mike McCarthy calls out Wynn for his effort yet mentions not a word about this obvious eyesore of the camp if a beat reporter can see it..

"Tezzy" wrote:

Well here's the entire issue, you guys are willing to accept a beat reporter's words because it fits in line with peoples already predisposed attitude about Harrell. Now I'm not defending Harrell, but am I to blindly listen to McGinn when I'm not hearing these same reports from anyone else? I want to hear more, is it a trend, was it just that one day, was he the actual reason that drill was stopped? If I try to connect the dots, I saw Harrell playing in the scrimmage and seemingly doing his job. So these comments from McGinn to me don't quite add up since he's the only one making them. Just my two cents.

I agree, MM has shown with Wynn that if a player needs to get called out on his effort, that he will do so. I don't think they were necessarily thrilled with him dropping out of that practice due to heat, but I'd rather have that than a Korey Stringer type situation.

the report i read was written 22 hours ago and stated the difference in intensity between harrell and neal was startling

Until the Packers address it in a press conference I'm not buying any of this on Harrell. For all we know the Packers training staff might actually be trying to ease him back in instead of working his ass off right away. I don't believe that but that's the point--there's no solid information out there yet on how the Packers organization views Harrell's participation.

Zero2Cool (12h) : Site sure seems to be down more than up
dfosterf (29-Jul) : 50 cent hookers? I'm moving to Green Bay. I thought it was just real estate that was more affordable there. 😂
Zero2Cool (29-Jul) : Sure seems site going down more than 50¢ hooker
Mucky Tundra (27-Jul) : Golden with two TDs in red zone drills today
Mucky Tundra (27-Jul) : @JacobMorley Shoutout to Quinn Ewers for allowing Matthew Golden to be available when Green Bay picked.

dfosterf (27-Jul) : Beer brat and ticket is where the money comes from
dfosterf (27-Jul) : The 40th is Titletown Tech itself. This is a pet project of both Ed Policy and Mark Murphy

packerfanoutwest (27-Jul) : beer and brats woke? say whom?
beast (27-Jul) : I don't want to get into politics, but how is, beers and brats considered to be "woke"? Food is food...
beast (27-Jul) : That being said, I'm not saying all 100% should be that way, but not surprised if majority are Wisconsin based
beast (27-Jul) : And if everyone has heard of them, then it it probably has less growth potential and less community based
beast (27-Jul) : Well isn't the investing person supposed to invest the money?
dfosterf (27-Jul) : I swear if I were to discover that one of them has invented a virtue signalling transmitter I will not be surprised, lol
dfosterf (27-Jul) : 39 companies so far that I bet no one has ever heard of.
dfosterf (27-Jul) : -Not saying woke, but should- borderline philanthopist venture capital excercise
dfosterf (27-Jul) : Well for one, they are pouring resources into Title Town Tech. Investing beer, brat, hot dog, ticket money into what is pretty much...
beast (27-Jul) : Wow, 95% drop in investment revenue? Would be interesting to hear the details of why...
dfosterf (25-Jul) : It's my one day deal complaint dept. on shareholder meeting day
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Probably a homer access credential intimidation kinda thing
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Meathead "journalists" skip this, concentrating on operational revenue when convenient. They switch when net revenue is more favorable.
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Resulting in an actual drop of net revenue of 12.5%. She is from Minnesota. Just sayin'
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Any plans to hold Maureen Smith (CFO) accountable for a 95% drop in investment revenue?
