If by chance he is lying about a little thing like a text, couldnt it very well be plausible he lied during the whole GB drama to make him self look good?

no, no chance brett lied to anybody in GB, as it was pointed out to me by a member of this very forum......MM & Ted Thompson had Rodgers, and were not about to beg Brett Favre to play in GB.

The coaching staff & front office were ready to move on with their #1 pick, they had to see what A-Rod was made of....after all, Rodgers contract was about to expire.

I think in your obsession to discredit a hall of fame football player, you have lost the ability to think with your head and instead are thinking with your broken heart.

Proff?

In the past I gave out actual quotes from Brett himself, where as others give out opinions...Yet I am not using my head?

I don't get what is so hard to think Brett Favre was ready to retire. He called say Ryan Longwell, and states, my ankle is really injured, don't think I can go this year.

Longwell contacts his coach and the executives in Minny. They beg the guy to come back(favre), the players beg the guy to come back(favre).

He has a ligit shot @ a championship, and says, damn it, my dad told me to play until I can't, till I am to be carried off the field, they (the vikes) really need me.

so...he changes his mind, and comes back....

can't say as i see it being so terrible(even if he lies about the text), really, that is between # and whomever he is texting)and i will also state as i have before, brett..stay retired, I got a feeling you're gonna regret coming back

please clarify this fence theory...what are the two sides again??

I hope I am on the side that wants #4 to play his ass off and entertain in 2010 and could careless about his private texts.

If that ol' hillbilly is out there slingin it on opening day 2010, more power to him.

I am happy we have rodgers, don't think brett could beat a-rod out if they were both in GB, rodgers has to much mobility, but I love watchin the gunslinger from Kiln Miss.

AND DO NOT CARE ABOUT HIS PRIVATE TEXTS TO HIS CRONIES.

I wish I could beat those of you who are quoting ENTIRE FUCKING CONVERSATIONS in their posts with rubber hoses. We've already read those posts; we don't need to read them in their entirety again.

There, I said it.

Maybe if Favre wasn't playing this "soap opera" year after year after year, i could take him seriously. Or at least not want to point out how wishy washy he is. But the act is getting old and tired.
Play, don't play.
Who really cares anymore? I don't.
When he was a Packer, i cared, as i never knew WHO was gonna be our QB because of his yearly "retirement" party.
Now, i laugh at it. It's the Queens that have to play this part now. And i don't think they like it.
At least from what i read on the Viking site, they arn't too thrilled.

LTF's argument is unimpeachable, Gravedigga. If he lied about this, he certainly could have lied before.

I apologize in advance for quoting your entire post.

You cheated on your taxes. Does that prove that you commited a murder? What does one have to do with the other? Man, who cares. Lets just enjoy the football season and stop worrying about this junk. This is going on 2 years now with the Favre lovers vs haters.

Cant we all just get long

beast (37m) : Also why do both NYC teams have absolutely horrible OL for over a decade?
beast (37m) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (10h) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (10h) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (12h) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
Zero2Cool (13h) : Aaron Glenn Planning To Take Jets HC Job
dfosterf (14h) : Martha- C'est mon boulot! 😁
Zero2Cool (14h) : Thank you
wpr (14h) : Z, glad you are feeling better.
wpr (14h) : My son and D-I-L work for UM. It's a way to pick on them.
Zero2Cool (14h) : Thank you. I rarely get sick, and even more rarely sick to the point I can't work.
wpr (14h) : Beast- back to yesterday, I CAN say OSU your have been Michigan IF the odds of making the playoffs were more urgent.
dfosterf (14h) : Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.
Zero2Cool (15h) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (15h) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (15h) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (15h) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (15h) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : and there's the dagger
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooooooohhhhhh he missed!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Game not over yet
beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame getting rolled
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : Ohio State just got punched in the gut. Lets see how they respond
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame vs the Luckeyes, bleh
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Oh snap!!!
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Even Stevie Wonder can see that.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Nah, you see Lions OC leaving to be HC of Bears is directly related to Packers.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ohhhhhhh Zero is in TROUBLE
packerfanoutwest (21-Jan) : Zero, per your orders, check Bearshome, not packershome
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Then he'll land with another team and flourish.
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Ben going to Bears. He'll be out in 3 years.
Mucky Tundra (20-Jan) : what's so funny?
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
