7) The Packers won 7 of their final 8 in the regular season. They finished ranked 2nd on defense and 6th on offense. The Packers defense ranked first with 30 interceptions from the pressure packages, first against the run, and first in turnover differential.

Urgh. Whenever a professional uses yards instead of points, I want to smack them upside the head.

We had the 3rd ranked O and the 7th ranked D. Our non-elite D showed their true colors in the Playoffs. However, our O is elite. It can score on anyone, as '09 proved.

With the OL repaired, it will be even better. Here's to hoping a 2nd year in the new D bumps us up to elite status.

Points without yards and vice versa are misleading stats.

I've listened to enough Wayne Larrivee on Westwood One to realize he gets excited whenever there's a big play; it doesn't matter who makes it. He seems to genuinely enjoy watching good play. That's how I am too (unless I'm watching a Packers game), which is why I'm a lousy cheerleader overall.

I like Buck. He and Aikman are probably my favorite announcing team. I really hated Collinsworth at the beginning of last season, but he grew on me as the year went on.

Larivee, I hate. His voice annoys me, and as others have pointed out, he gets excited for the other team to do well. If I'm following a game on NFL Gameday radio, I'll go so far as to listen to the other team's announcers, versus listening to Larivee drone on. Thank God for this site.

Can't remember who was broadcasting when the Pack played the 49ers on Fox last year. I think Billick was the color guy. The PbP guy called our coach "Matt McCarthy" and "Mike McCartney" in the same game. Horrible team.

Collinsworth and Aikman IMO are the best. They both seem to actually know about football and it really shows.

The thing I don't like about Wayne Larivee is when he gets excited in his voice when the opponent does something good. It kills me! I think whoa yes yes wait a tick wtf!!

I hadn't thought of that, but you are so right and I think subconsiously this also is one of the things that bothers me. He is the Packer's announcer, when he gets excited I expect something good has happened for the Packers only to be disappointed to find out something bad has happened.
