Note of course that this is for Fantasy, meaning who is going to put up better numbers, not who is the best QB.

Aaron Rodgers listed as preseason favorite to put up the best numbers in 2010 for QBs.

I can see that. I like Brees but think Rodgers will put up better numbers. Why? Our OL was holding him back last year. With Cliffy and Tausch both back and with Buluga in there if one of them goes down, we should see a more stable OL.

Yes, Brees will put up the numbers. I'm not arguing that. He'll have another marvelous season. It's just Rodgers will put up more.

My WTF moment comes with Romo over Favre? You gotta be kidding. Favre will put up better numbers than Romo as the Cows have some locker room issues to address that may reach the field and Favre will be coming back to the same team except for Chester Taylor.

My wild card pick would be Alex Smith. Nobody is expecting anything from him, but him and Crabtree started to hit it off in the 2nd half of the year and Vernon Davis is one of the league's better TEs. Plus Frank Gore is one of the better receiving RBs. He won't be top 5, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him as high as #12 or even #11 in fantasy points for QBs.

In both leagues that I had him in.. yes.. I completely concur that he was the most valuable player in the league.. bar none.

The running back tandem the cowboys have and the receivers ... plus of course their TE ... yes, Romo will score more fantasy points than Favre on the Vikings. Well, should anyhow, lol.

Hatred for Vikings aside, how is Romo going to pass up Favre in fantasy points in '10? Keep in mind both P Manning and Schaub beat out Romo last year in fantasy points. Romo was #6.

If anything, Favre may slip behind P Manning ('10 could go either way between Favre and P Manning), but Romo isn't going to pass them both.

lol my hatred towards the Cowboys is not one to be understated bud.

It's fun to rip on the Vikings because we house a few of their, ahem, "fans" here.

I would rather see Brett (one of my two all time favorite players) do well in purple than see Romo do well in a Cowboys uniform.

I have this feeling Brett won't be able to duplicate his fantastic statistical season of '09 in '10 because the team surrounding him won't be on the same level. I also think his ankle is going to inhibit his statistical markers as well.

I think the Cowboys have a better RB stable, WR stable and TE than the Vikings as well as a better OL and an offense that is more downfield.

I think if Brett and Romo flipped teams, Brett would then have substantially better stats.

Brett does well in the WCO because it's what he knows the best and it suits his age the best. Quick release, short routes with the occasional deep ball.

I've done stat projections for fantasy and Rodgers comes out No. 1 for me as well. His rushing numbers make the difference.

most likely because of the amount of rushing TD's he had.
