If you feel you have a draft day trade in any round by the Packers post it here.

I am going to say if D. Thomas falls to us we will make a trade with Tampa Bay for their 2nd and 3rd round picks to include the first of their two 2nd round picks.

Some mocks have the Bucs taking Golden Tate with their first 2nd round pick and I figure they would jump on Thomas if they could get him instead.

It's a gamble that Thomas will still be there but he's off a lot of teams boards but Tampa is a team I think would look past the reasons others won't pull the trigger on him.

This would give the Pack early and late 2nd and 3rd round picks and my guess is Ted Thompson would have a field day with that.

Like four eventual starters maybe.

I thought that the scenario I showed in my Packers mock draft was pretty realistic. The rumors going around that the Jets will part ways with Shaun Ellis only adds to the realism.

I had the Jets trading their 1st (29th) and 2nd (61st) for the Packers' 1st (23rd) and 3rd (86th) round picks so the Jets can select DE/DT Jared Odrick before the Ravens can at 25.

It makes perfect sense with the value chart, as well (for what that's worth).

I'm not sure how my scenario stacks up on the value chart but guessed it probably was something in line.

I could see some action out of the last eight teams like you suggest here since they were more restricted on making moves in the offseason. These are the better teams that might move up if they feel one or two guys can carry them over the top.

Don't look at the value chart. It's one of the biggest pieces of bullshit around the web. Especially the high picks are massively over-priced according to the chart.

I don't think that GB is willing to sell out this draft to do so... it basically would be giving up their 2nd and probably 3rd to do so.. that is insane.

We can use this offensive line and defensive deep draft to improve upon the depth of this club.. this draft is almost tailor made for us this year.. more picks IMO would be the case.. and push some of the weaker depth off the club.

I agree. At some point there is not going to be enough snaps to go around to all of our offensive play makers. If he falls to 23 that's fine, but I'd rather keep our 2nd and 3rd round picks in this draft. We can win with our offense, but we need better O-line depth and a better pass rush to go further in the playoffs.

Im on board with Porky on this, I think we trade up and take Spiller but I think it will be with Jacksonville. It won't cost us as much as you think. The Jags want to draft Tebow but don't want to take him that high so they will look to trade back and the Packers would be perfect.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

I don't understand why we'd draft Spiller, though. Our running back notched 1250 yards and 11 touchdowns last season. This is on top of our 4000+ yard passing season. Why do we need another starting back? I guess you could make the same argument for not drafting OL in the first round, though: the offense racked up all those stats despite the deplorable state of the OL. Maybe the Packers front office is hoping to compensate for poor line play by sheer brute scoring. It would be fun to watch.
