Could they be going for an OT or trying to sneak up for heaven forbid for Dfosters health Dez Bryant lol.

Any ideas who they could be targeting?

possible trade partner?

Gary Fitzgerald, of Redskins.com, reports Washington Redskins general manager Bruce Allen said the team is open to trading their first-round draft choice but said he can't project what will happen. He said the team would be willing to accept draft picks for next year's draft in a potential trade.

Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

I'd say it's an OT - I'd say it was Berry, but I don't think they'd get up high enough to grab him unless they're talking really early on in the first 12 spots. Given the team needs and the players available, S or OT would be the positions to move up for.

I was just looking at Waleters Mock draft to see who they have projected in the top 12 and I would like the trade with the Redskins to get Berry and I think thats who Ted Thompson might be targeting. He has stated before he is happy with the O-line.

But I would love it more if he did the trade to get Dez just to watch Dave go nuts, it would be a little sweet revenge after Ted Thompson passed on Crabtree last year :P

also the Redskins have #4 overall so that would leave you pretty much your choice of players.

This was posted in a rumor thread, as well, but it's a pretty big rumor. It warrants its own thread, I reckon.

One wild card they might be looking at at 12 is C.J. Spiller. Both him and Best would be perfect compliments to Grant. Think about how explosive that would make our defense.

Then again, it could all be a smokescreen.

I don't think you move up a dozen or so spots to draft a back to compliment your just above average back.

They won't do it.. Damn Thompson is to damn cheap to make a move like that.. haven't you all learned a damn thing.

There.. Hazer was posting all together too damn rational in this thread.. someone has got to add the Hazer edge. 😉

Or could we trade with Jacksonville and move up there and thats where you grab Spiller because the Jags would like to trade down and draft Tebow. I think that would be the most realistic trade partner because we wouldn't have to fork out that top 5 money.

To trade up that far they have to be looking at one of the positions that are a need. Probably one of the OTs like Williams or Bulaga. If not OT it would be one of the elite players like Berry, Spiller, or even Earl Campbell.
