The last thread got moved and renamed, so I'll give it antoehr shot.

EXCLUSIVE: Packers reveal new retro jersey

GREEN BAY (WFRV) - WFRV-TV Channel 5, Your Official Packers Station, has a special sneak-peak at the Packers latest game jersey.

The jersey, which is part of a new uniform being revealed this afternoon at Packers Fan Fest, is a replica of the team's 1929 uniform. It is also the year that Green Bay won it's first World Championship.

Green Bay Packers President Mark Murphy says the team will sport the retro uniforms for one or two games this upcoming season.

The Packers Fan Fest television special, hosted by Channel 5 Sports Director Larry McCarren, will air exclusively on Channel 5, Your Official Packers Station, tonight at 6:30pm.

Rock.. thanks for making it a thread... I had to run quick... steaks on the grille..

I would have rather had the Wolf 94 proposal as an alternative jersey..

The Wolf 94 jersey wouldnt be a throw back.
This isn't an alternate, its a one game thing.

It's growing on me. I think by the time we play in it I'll like it.

Just so everyone knows what Pack93's talking about...

I don't really like them.

I don't really like the throwback's that we'll be using now, either, though. Like British said, though, they'll grow on me eventually.

I'd still like to go back to these. The throwbacks we wore in '94.

And I wouldn't mind wearing our banana-like alternates once, either. I really like how they look, yet, we never use them.

Oh my God guys, it's not a freakin fashion show. This is what they wore in the 30s (The front number is a bit bigger, yes). It's about nostalgia, not cool or sharpness.
