I have no problem with your seeing my perspective as cold -- it probably is. On the other hand, you should have no problem with my seeing your perspective as maudlin and, in the end, counterproductive -- which it probably is. š It's not like these guys are lunchpail workers, living from paycheck to paycheck and walking home every night with their faces streaked with coal dust. They're overpaid players who live in the lap of luxury and are coddled in almost every conceivable way.
There are some individual plans I'm a fan of, but I like them for their own sake, not the teams they play for. Most of my favorite players aren't on the Packers, though.
Incidentally, I want to point out that adding the word "though" after, or the phrase "On the other hand" before, my sentence describing Donald Driver's tenacity would probably help the whole paragraph make more sense.
