It all boils down to this very simple premise, you cannot legislate the random and sick thoughts of some of the twisted human beings walking this earth.

We can debate it all day long, but it just cannot be done.

With that said, we will continue to try.

I have lost all enjoyment participating in discussions on this website thanks to people like you Jeremy, Paul, Wade and Troy. I used to look forward to coming to this site, share thoughts, opinions, but after this ganging up against me ... fuck you guys and thanks for making a difficult time of year ... even worse by ruining my hobby.

I don't know where Paul, Wade and Troy play in this, but certainly none of them ever intended on ruining your hobby. Nor have I. I know you do far more for the site than I ever will, but this is what I enjoy as well (loggin in, reading some Packer garbage, bantering with DakotaT, 93z, you, etc). I mean what I said, but that doesn't mean I won't back off if that's what you want. You are the 'bossman', the owner and Moderator. Just say it and I'll back off. I'll hate doing it, but I will out of respect for you and the work you've done here.

Anyone ever notice that the only threads that reach 15 to 20 pages are the ones where bickering, bantering, and abuse are prevelent? Personally, it does not bother me in the least to be called names or have my intelligence denigrated - that's when I know I've got my advesary right where I want him. The mistake I make is assuming other peoples feelings don't get hurt either. So that would be what I would apologize for.

Does anyone belong NRA anymore?

I don't know that I know one under the age of mid 50's or older.

All I'll say is I missed Kevin in GameDay Chat this week. Hope everything's OK, and hope he's back soon.

I greatly appreciate this place he's provided us to hang out, and would hope he enjoyed running PackersHome as much as I do hanging out here.

Even in the best of times Christmas is stressful - And with all the violence over the last few weeks and the uncertainty of the fiscal cliff and what it means for our finances and retirements, it's that much harder to keep a positive attitude. Personally, I've crammed buying a house (in 20 days, frantic), closing on the 19th, work, 2 1/2 days with my parents with a 5 1/2 hour drive there in a mini-blizzard and 3 1/2 hour drive back, and packing for the move all in so far this month. I work today but we're leaving either tonight or tomorrow morning for my in-laws (2 1/2 hour drive in ideal conditions), driving up to her uncles on friday which is another 3 1/2 hours away, then all the way back either sunday morning (with a stopover for the game at the in-laws) or all at once saturday night. Then I get to come back and move the next day (31st) and host my brother for 2 days.

Christmas is hard, and draining, and stressful. I'm blessed to have parents that have not divorced and in-laws that have not divorced, I can't imagine cramming another two Christmases in and keeping my sanity. But many people need to deal with that. I don't know that much about Kevin's personal life but I can think of a handful of reasons to be stressed out this time of year - we can give halfhearted non-apologies about offending him but the fact of the matter is, we can be dicks to eachother quite often and we're all just one or two crises away from not being able to take it in stride. Lord knows I'm guilty, at the very least I hope we can leave our more heated rage and language for the sorry souls to the homeland's east and west.

Merry Christmas and stuff.

I may be a tad guilty of going overboard [grin1], but I also think if Kevin is going to banter - then his executive privilege should also be waived.

Porforis, you're one of my favorite bitches. My politics use to be pretty close to what you currently believe, I just have had an awakening. Merry Christmas buddy, and congratulations on the house - I hope you bought a fixer upper so you learn about wiring, plumbing, sheet rock, window and door framing, shingling etc.

It was a recently restored house that was a complete disaster when it forclosed several years back, 90% of it is new but there's enough things that need patching here or there that I'll still have the opportunity to learn. It's got aluminum siding and there's corners I'll need to repair in the spring, some of the siding on the garage is bent back and I'll need to fix that (preferably yet this year) and I'll need to tear up a little bit of carpet on the basement stairs to replace a somewhat broken step (Supporting it with 2x4s in the meantime, there's already a 2x2 nailed underneath it for some support). Move-in ready so I'm not completely overwhelmed when I walk in the door but still enough stuff to force me to learn how to be handy.

Merry Christmas to you too.

dfosterf (26-Jun) : I think it would be great to have someone like Tom Grossi or Andy Herman on the Board of Directors so he/they could inform us
dfosterf (26-Jun) : Fair enough, WPR. Thing is, I have been a long time advocate to at least have some inkling of the dynamics within the board.
wpr (26-Jun) : 1st world owners/stockholders problems dfosterf.
Martha Careful (25-Jun) : I would have otherwise admirably served
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Also, no more provision for a write-in candidate, so Martha is off the table at least for this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot
dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy is on my ballot subject to me penciling him in as a no.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : I thought it used to be we voted for the whatever they called the 45, and then they voted for the seven, and then they voted for Mark Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : @SharpFootball WR Diontae Johnson just admitted he refused to enter a game in 41° weather last year in Baltimore because he felt “ice cold”
Zero2Cool (24-Jun) : Yawn. Rodgers says he is "pretty sure" this be final season.
Zero2Cool (23-Jun) : PFT claims Packers are having extension talks with Zach Tom, Quay Walker.
Mucky Tundra (20-Jun) : GB-Minnesota 2004 Wild Card game popped up on my YouTube page....UGH
beast (20-Jun) : Hmm 🤔 re-signing Walker before Tom? Sounds highly questionable to me.
Mucky Tundra (19-Jun) : One person on Twitter=cannon law
Zero2Cool (19-Jun) : Well, to ONE person on Tweeter
Zero2Cool (19-Jun) : According to Tweeter
Zero2Cool (19-Jun) : Packers are working on extension for LT Walker they hope to have done before camp
dfosterf (18-Jun) : E4B landed at Andrews last night
dfosterf (18-Jun) : 101 in a 60
dfosterf (18-Jun) : FAFO
Zero2Cool (18-Jun) : one year $4m with incentives to make it up to $6m
dfosterf (18-Jun) : Or Lions
dfosterf (18-Jun) : Beats the hell out of a Vikings signing
Zero2Cool (18-Jun) : Baltimore Ravens now have signed former Packers CB Jaire Alexander.
dfosterf (14-Jun) : TWO magnificent strikes for touchdowns. Lose the pennstate semigeezer non nfl backup
dfosterf (14-Jun) : There was minicamp Thursday. My man Taylor Engersma threw
dfosterf (11-Jun) : There will be a mini camp practice Thursday.
Zero2Cool (11-Jun) : He's been sporting a ring for a while now. It's probably Madonna.
Martha Careful (10-Jun) : We only do the tea before whoopee, it relaxes me.
wpr (10-Jun) : That's awesome Martha.
Mucky Tundra (10-Jun) : How's the ayahuasca tea he makes, Martha?
Martha Careful (10-Jun) : Turns out he like older women
Martha Careful (10-Jun) : I wasn't supposed to say anything, but yes the word is out and we are happy 😂😂😂
Mucky Tundra (10-Jun) : I might be late on this but Aaron Rodgers is now married
Mucky Tundra (10-Jun) : Well he can always ask his brother for pointers
Zero2Cool (10-Jun) : Bo Melton taking some reps at CB as well as WR
Zero2Cool (10-Jun) : key transactions coming today at 3pm that will consume more cap in 2025
Zero2Cool (9-Jun) : Jaire played in just 34 of a possible 68 games since the start of the 2021 season
Zero2Cool (9-Jun) : reported, but not expected to practice
Zero2Cool (9-Jun) : Jenkins has REPORTED for mandatory camp
Zero2Cool (9-Jun) : I really thought he'd play for Packers.
buckeyepackfan (9-Jun) : Packers releasing Jaire Alexander.
Mucky Tundra (8-Jun) : (Context: he wants his defense to create turnovers)
