I don't know what that means. Then again I'm not particularly bright or anything so what does "Assume Good Faith" mean? (I'm serious).

How is there nothing critical in that post you did? Your basically saying a football player doesn't run because he's scared he's going to get injured and that would ruin some streak he has. That would mean he's not playing to win, he's playing to keep some streak alive. And I responded that I don't think he plays in a way to keep his streak alive, he's actually extremly reckless for a QB (would you see Brady or Manning throw that block on Willis, of course, because its stupid to do so).

Unless there is some kind of sarcasm or something in your original post I don't really understand how your comment is not critical of Brett Favre. If it was some kind of clever post or something, I will be the first to say sorry and that I jumped to conclusions.

By the way, I have repeatedly given Favre props for throwing his body around on the turnovers in that last game. But anyone who has watched him over the years knows that has not been this typical style, an occasional block (e.g., in the Super Bowl) every few years notwithstanding.

The Onion

Vikings Stand Behind Brett Favre's Decision To Jerk Team Around For Months

EDEN PRAIRIE, MNPlayers, coaches, and front-office personnel are united in their support of Brett Favre's decision to waffle, demur, delay, beat around the bush, and generally yank them around for months on end while they wait for him to make a decision about his retirement. "He's a living legend and our captain, so we support him if he needs to take some time to fuck with us," said backup quarterback Tarvaris Jackson, whose future would benefit greatly from a quick decision by Favre and whose life and career are basically in limbo until the future Hall of Famer once again makes up his mind. "We could only watch in envy as he did exactly this in Green Bay all those years, but to see him jerk around your own team It's an honor, really." Favre responded to questions abut retirement by confirming that he was planning to draw out the situation for months and would ultimately do whatever was most annoying for the team.UserPostedImage

Lol, look at it again. You 're basically intimating that Favres a pussy that wont mix it up so he can keep playing. Watch that video where he throws his injured throwing shoulder into Patrick Willis and lays him out.
