I really don't care. As i see it, the Cowboys couldn't stop them. Who's fault is that?
But of course, i can see the Cowboys going for revenge next chance they get.
So it works both ways. The Vikings made the line......now it's up to the Cowboys to cross it. (If they can)
Favre probably figures he won't be there the next time the Vikings play the Cowboys, so what did he have to lose?

The fact is Brett went for the lower percentage play. It was pretty much a guaranteed field goal. I noticed that the Cowboys didn't quit on their possesion before also going for it on 4th down. I don't know why the Vikes were expected to let up.

Truth? I wish we'd do this. I want to see our opponent pounded for 60 minutes. I want to see the opposing Coach in emotional therapy after the game. I want to see an opposing player take off his helmet and just start crying because we beat them so badly.

You all know how much I hate the Cows. When the Vikings decided to go for it on 4th down and Favre throws a perfect pass and their TE (don't ask me to spell his name) made that awesome diving catch for a TD and Brookings went to the sideline and started yelling, it made it all much better.

Heck, because of that, the Vikings should have had an onside kick and gone for a Hail Mary for a possible 7 more points.

Brooking represents the pussification of America. He's probably a communist.

I don't have a problem with it, especially seeing how the Vikings went for it on 4th down. Cowboys stop them, problem solved. It's no fun being on the receiving end of a beatdown. I know I wouldn't be happy about it at first, but I'd get over it pretty quick. That late TD isn't the reason the Cowboys lost. If a team is getting dominated that badly, especially in the playoffs, it's their own damn faults and it doesn't matter where Brookings focuses that anger.

Broookings, no class. Walk you beaten ass back to your sideline.

Vikings. No class. There is no reason to run that play. Kick the FG, then kick the ball off.

I teach my kids to win and lose with class. Neither of these are an example of what I would expect them to do.

They were playing the run.

No matter how it is spun, it was not a sportsmanlike play.

I'm with Brooking.

Call me wuss.

Sportsmanlike play in pee-wee or high school.. Or even the NCAA? Nope.

In the NFL? The border for 'sportsmanlike' changes. These are two playoff teams. One of them was hyped as the eventual NFC Super Bowl team. The other? Instead of saying anything to the media, they played 60 minutes of playoff NFL football. Throwing for a TD, late in the game when up by 24 points, on a 4th down? That's freakin' genius. If they fail to convert, the Cowgirls get the ball on their own 11 yard line. Good luck with that drive, boys. If they convert, then it's either first down or TD. Either way, it's a win-win-win scenario.

The Vikings already showed their cards earlier in the game when going for it on a 4th down. BTW, they went 1-2 on 4th down conversions.

Thanks to TheViking88 for the sig!!
