pretty much echoing dhazer's sentiments. I am embarrassed about our defense, but I have issues with both of Fitz's TDs, and Early Doucet's (sp) TD where his knee clearly was down about two yards beyond where the catch was made. Why McCarthy didn't challenge that, I have no idea. Jenkins penalty was BS, and the no-call at the end could've been the difference in the game. Admittedly, there were some bad calls that benefitted the Packers as well. The one that comes to mind is the first horse-collar, the one against Grant. That was a bad call. But hardly game changing like three no calls (Fitz's two and the one at the end).

It is hard to look beyond your team for a loss then they let someone hang 51 on them. But, when the other team is doing the same, poor calls can be, and were, the difference....and there was only one team playing in the game who were on the dirty end of the officiating shitty stick.

We got screwed...and the Kurt Warner farewell tour continues. Love the dude...humble beginnings in life and the league, and by all accounts a great man. But one has to wonder if sentiment did not come into play on some of the calls/non-calls.

I don't think there was any of that going on. that's just my opinion. The refs had their hands full yesterday, for sure. They had a lot to keep their eyes on, and they missed some stuff. The two calls that I think they "blew", which is different than calls that they just missed, were offensive PIs on Fitz. Those were easy calls.

BTW, the call on Jenkins roughing Warner was correct. YES he was blocked into Warner, but he was called for roughing because he swatted at Warner's face.

I AGREE that the Cards should have been called for roughing a few times, but the call on Jenkins was correct.

The call was wrong and everybody watching was robbed. I am not going to claim that had it not been for that call we would have won. No, we still needed to score. But I guarantee, had that call been made correct, we have more game to watch. Maybe we punt and they score, but I for one would have like to see it.
