There is a factual error in that article. It says Rodgers threw for 4,308 yards last year; in fact, he only threw for 4,038 (ah, now that I've typed it, I see that it's a simple transposition error, but I still found it humorously startling).

Yes, this article is good and positive, but it's not terribly interesting or profound. Anyone with a tenth of a brain and a shred of Packer fandom embraced Aaron Rodgers long ago.

Agreed. Brett Favre is my favorite player but there isn't a QB I'd rather be leading the Packers right now than Rodgers, for the simple fact Rodgers has 10 years left and Favre has what? 1 or 2 after this?

I said in another thread that they're interchangeable. When you're in a position to select a player who is interchangeable, you get the guy who will last longer.
