Bush is coming on. This is a great time for a practice game. LeRoy Butler said Bush should follow Woody around and try to pick up tips on playing the ball. Well, seems like he might actually doing that. Who's to say? He made a pretty good play on that interception.
I look forward to this game as a test for Bush.
And btw, I put our top 4 WRs up against the Cards' top 3 any day. Throw in Finley too.

Bush tries hard, and I don't hate on him, but he's been in the league a few years now, and it is apparent that he is very limited as a player. He doesn't have good ball skills. He's not able to turn around and find the ball fast enough with his eyes and then react to it when it's coming at him. This is still as much of a problem as it was in 2007 during his brief stint as our nickel back.

Capers will need to move him around and hide him as best he can so that he is not exploited too much. I've been saying for a few weeks now that they should keep him near the line of scrimmage in zone coverage or have him cover a tight end. When he is in man coverage on wide receivers downfield, bad things will continue to happen.

I suggest suiting him up in a 21 Woodson jersey to hide him.

Oooh. Great idea! Let them try to pick on #24 then. I wonder what kind of penalty the NFL would give for that?

As a Bush critic, I really hope he plays well. Its been 3 years with us, so I am not buying the idea that finally know he gets it. BUT, I do like Capers a lot and I do believe that Capers can put him in situations where he is most likely to succeed. I also understand that there aren't many options on the bench, so we will have to go forward with him. If I were the cardinals, I would not attack him on Sunday unless i needed the win. BTW, with Winfield being hurt in Minny, that will be an interesting situation for them. He looked bad a against the Bears......yes the Bears. After that game I would have taken Bush over Winfield. His ankle must really be bad but they have no other alternatives, and really, no ther good d-backs. They could be one and done in the playoffs.
