Cant believe no one else has started this. Right now I feel like the biggest Bears fan alive. Knock them out of the 2 seed!! Some of the most fun I've had this year. Illinoisans dont have to be Bears fans!

No one started it probably because it's the Bears and they have a tendency to find ways to lose. 🙂

Of course, the Bearce offense shows up.. But, I gotta say, the defense and AP pretty much gave this game away. Special teams by the Vikings didn't help much, either.

favre should have been picked twice on the same play on the last TD drive in regulation, gould missed a long but make-able fg that would have ended it, and the bears were up 17 points with roughly a quarter to go. The vikings were fortunate to get back/be in the game as long as they were.

That same defensive back dropped a pick on the drive before the Vikings drive to tie it as well. Both times hit him right in the chest. As you said, the Vikings were fortunate to even get back in that game against an atrocious Bears team.

Nobody gave the Bears a chance in this game, but they had played a close game with the Packers just two weeks ago. So I wasn't too surprised with the outcome. The only major disappointment was how well Favre played in the second half. You guys are right, though--he easily could've had one intercepted on that final drive.

I love it that the Vikings may not get a bye.

Screw the Vikings defense
Screw the Vikings special teams
Screw Adrian Peterson

They all are a waste of space. Way over hyped. Not nearly as good as anyone thinks they are. They ALL found a way to seize defeat from the grasp of victory. Every bears kick off return was like 40 - 50 yards. This "great defense" gets its ass kicked all day in the first half. Cant stop the run, cant make a stop, cant make a tackle. Let Jay Cutler throw it all over the place all game long. And then Peterson fumbles the game away as expected in OT.

Way2B AP, you just cost them a shot at home field throughout. Not only that, most likely cost them a bye and a chance to rest and that throws out any hope of making a run.

dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
