He could win Defensive Rookie of the week again after today. That would be his third time winning it. As far as Defensive Rookie of the Year (is there such an award) it's between him and Jarius Byrd from the Bills.

I'm a Clay Matthews fan. He is playing hard and gets pressure on the QB. Tonight when he went for the sack he went after the ball as well. Something he improved on from the Lions game.

As for DROY a lot of rookies are still in the mix

our pass rush was a big concern coming into the season, but no way could anyone have predicted how well this kid would perform. I just hope he never cuts his hair, cause it's giving him Samson like power.

I think you're missing one there.

Brian Cushing - 102 Tckls, 1.5 Sacks, 3 Ints, 9 PDef, 2 FF, 0 TDs, 1 Safety.
Clay Matthews - 35 Tckls, 7.0 Sacks, 0 Ints, 6 PDef, 2 FF, 0 TDs, 0 Safeties.
Jairus Byrd - 41 Tckls, 0 Sacks, 8 Ints, 10 PDef, 0 FF, 0 TDs, 0 Safeties.

I think that Cushing should get this one. Especially if you look at the previous 3 winners. They had some very similair years.

And, of course, for offensive rookie, I don't think that anyone is going to beat Percy Harvin at this point.

Jarius Byrd. Leads the league in INTs. Him or Cushing. Matthews has no chance over them. Also, whoever said Percy Harvin, that COULD happen, but if it does, the ones that picked him are fucking biased out of their minds (toward offensive players).

And that surprised you? Look at the MVP award. Look at votable players of the week. I'm afraid that this game revolves around offenses right now.

And that's a shame, if you ask me.

Ray Lewis for 2000 MVP....

And you're right, Dave, that's going to put him over the top. Lol.
