Bah.... though the chili cheese dip sounds great, and i'm a big fan of velveeta in lots of places (in my five-cheese mac-n-cheese, a big chunk on top of a burger), my sunday favorite is much simpler:

Fresh pico de gallo:
Fresh tomatos.
Fresh onions.
Fresh jalapenos.
Fresh cilantro.

:)

See.. I'm not a fan of the 'traditional' tomato salsa dip. Too vegetarian for me, or something. Or not enough cheese.

I like queso dips, or more of a chilli dip.

I like the layered dips. The one's with Beef, Cheese, Guacamole, Sour Cream, and Beans. Yum yum.

It looked like the lower half of his leg just whipped around like someone was swinging a towel. Hopefully he can be back next year for the Vikes, because that was just awful.

That is absolutely horrible.

The guy had to have reconstructive foot surgery last year and now this. I hope he comes back. Looks like he tore something pretty good, this is one of those injuries that can effect your speed, agility and movement pretty badly.

Two other injuries came to mind when I saw this, McGahee in the Orange Bowl, and Joe Theisenmann on Monday Night Football.

Good luck EJ, you became a fine football player and good man.

I won't look at those videos. I'm glad I happened to be distracted at the moment of injury and missed it. I don't mind blood, gore, even fractures, but there's something about joint dislocation that freaks me out.

Vikes' Henderson breaks leg

Associated Press

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Minnesota Vikings linebacker E.J. Henderson broke his leg against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday in a brutal injury that will apparently sideline him for the season while dealing a serious blow to the Vikings' defensive unit.

Henderson fractured his femur while trying to tackle Tim Hightower late in the fourth quarter -- his leg twisting violently as he went down. He was taken off the field on a motorized cart after doctors spent several minutes attending to the star linebacker. His brother and teammate, Erin, held Henderson's hand as they were driven to the locker room.

Coach Brad Childress said Henderson will spend the night in Phoenix and undergo surgery.

Henderson has been a key part of Minnesota's defensive success this season, and it was the second straight year that his season was cut short with injury.

The mood in the locker room around the Henderson injury was somber as many players just shook their heads in disgust at the horrific injury.

"I feel bad for E.J.," Vikings quarterback Brett Favre said. "That's awful for him and for our team."

Just so you guys understand the seriousness of the situation, you can die from a femur fracture (not likely on an NFL field with instant medical attention, of course); though judging from the angle of the knee joint in the pictures above, I'd guess the fracture occurred closer to the knee than the mid-shaft.

Holy shit, that's was terrible. Worse than the McGahee injury. That's the worst football injury I've ever seen.

The angle from behind really tells the story.
