They staged a coup at Lambeau on Monday? Wow! That would have been a sight to see! What happened? Did they drop in paratroopers during the pregame flyover? 😃

I am here Cheesey, just really busy this week since I took a half day on Monday, got home at 3am Tuesday morning and had to be back at work tuesday at 7:30am.

I must say, I am a little dissapointed in some ofthe posts in this thread. Where did Nonstopdrivel ever post that he wanted all your votes and for you all to decide who should go? Somehow it ended up that way and it became a public decision.

The only thing Nonstop asked for is who would like to go. A couple/few people volunteered and he chose someone. It was his decision. period.

I am honored that he entrusted me with the welfare of Sfalim. She was a very nice young lady and we had a good time.

I have a few pictures but they arent all that great, not what I used to be able to take. I will post them soon. Zero, for your first game, I think you would like to be a little higher than the first row. I think you would like to see the play develop, who is open, etc. Anyone that has played football knows you cant see too much from field level.

That being said, the cool part was being so close to the bench. Barnett gave us a thumbs up, I told Ahman "welcome back", and he said thanks, and I gave Aaron the surfer's sign (where your little finger and thumb are extended from your fist) and he returned it. That was cool.

Sharlene (Sfalim) is a really nice young lady. She grew up and lives in the Phillipines. She was on vacation in Florida as a kid when the Packers won the superbowl and saw Brett play. She was hooked. She know as much or more about the packers and players than alot of people on this site! She knew who was the weight trainer! Also, the new guys that were brought up from the practice squad recently. She also could recognize all the players that were not dressed!

Speaking of not dressed, she clearly underestimated the cold at Lambeau. I tried to give her blankets, gloves, hats, etc. She wouldn't take them and just shivered. I tried. Needless to say, I was bundled.

I made sure she enjoyed Spotted Cow beer (only sold in WI, but extremely popular here) and cheese curds. After the game, we went to Curley's Pub and watched the aftergame with Wayne Laravee, Bill Micheals, and hub Arkush (?). We also sat right there while they interviewed Johnny Jolly. We each had a bowl of Beer Cheese Soup and then I dropped her off at the hotel. I headed back to milwaukee at 1:00AM.

All in all, I think I showed her a good time. Today she heads back home.

All things are possible, Rock.

My "inherited" tickets are in the next section, (118) a few rows back.

I just need a lot of advance notice, (As in next season) because I do not take advantage of the seats very often. My inheritance also belongs to 5 cousins. The good news is that they are free, (estate pays for them, there are 4 seats) the bad news is that my cousins all own bars / restaurants in Wisconsin and are constantly getting drunk and giving them away in their bars. I found an old pic from "my" seat.

As you can see, it is very close to where Tripp and Sfalim sat.

Madison and Monona.

You have to be a friggin' EXPERT drinker if you roll in...lol At least that has been my experience, which is limited due to "kid in a candy store" "too many options" available, and better to stay the hell away from all those crazy relatives issues.

They have reached a certain "level of synergy" with fellow bar owners in Madison and it's environs. No one pays for anything. It's a "bar owner thing"

I'm glad my dad got me out of that state when I was young..I'd be dead from alcoholism by now. I really do stay away from my cousins...I can't "hang" with them. e.g. I have an extremely vague recollection of losing lunch on some girl I had apparently met the last time I "visited" one of their bars. (And that was a LONG time ago.) The good news (sick humor) is that if I outlast all of them, I get those tickets solo, lol.

Are those the same seats as the ones you and your Redskins friend had a conversation with Green at?

That'd pretty cool.

Pictures of your family reunion ought to be priceless.

Your images show your obsession with the purple gnome and Dhazer pretty well, btw. Lol.

Yep.

If I can get my stupid zip drive runnin', I have photos of Brett signing the jersey.
