Johnson and Grant are the same in neither is really elusive, they but make merely what the offensive line will give them. There was a day when Johnson might have given you more... but as others have said, he isn't the same runner prior to the injury.

If we are only talking about a rental for the rest of the season.. yes maybe he is worth it.. but any longer than that at this point.. risky.

Johnson wasn't happy with Vermal, Edwards nor the current staff.. what makes you think that he will be a better locker room player now?

I only seen him play a couple of times that past season and a half.. and he wasn't impressive IMO.

Anyhow, I don't think Johnson and Grant are the same. I mean, when did Grant post 1700 yard seasons, score 17 or more TD's in a year? Completely different backs.

Johnson could run through people.
Grant is twinkle toes, OMG DON'T HIT ME.

Johnson ran his best when he was pissed off. I wish I followed the Chiefs closer because I could pull up the quote from LJ himself. He even said he plays better when he's angry. He was asked about it after signing his contract.

Now, again. If he thinks he has to prove the Chiefs wronged him, I think he'd be a good fit for the remainder of the season. I never once even implied keeping him after the season is over.

I'll say it again.
Throw a flier to the guy. If we get him, get him pissed off, let him run the ball. mm says running the ball is how to win games right? hahahahahaha sorry couldn't help myself laugh. Anyhooters ... LJ would be fun to see if he plays pissed off.

Oh, and a no twitter clause if that's possible lol

So, Larry Johnson. Think he'd be good for the Packers not?

Nope - Green's got as much to offer at this point, without the associated headaches.

Agreed - at worst an even split w/ Grant. 7+ ypc is nothing to sneeze at.

id go out and get him, he is still a pretty good back who needs a change of scenery !!

at this point grant seems to be not the runner he once was !!

Houston making a good push for Larry Johnson. favorites to get him at this point. Washington and Patriots possibilities, too.

Would figure that he'd go to the Redskins. Another big name player who's not producing. Go Snyder.

He put some lip service down saying he doesn't have anger issues.

Forget him then. I only wanted him because I thought he'd play angry like he said he was during his 1700 yard seasons. A happy RB is useless to me. I want one whos pissed off and makes defenses pay!
