I liked what I saw from Ahman and well, he made me put my foot in my mouth because he is playing with heart.

As for the Grant situation...there is more than just him when it comes to his poor production. For starters, we were playing the Vikings yesterday and you really aren't going to get much production out of him.
Also, Adrian Peterson can't even run behind this offensive line and ZBS crap.

I don't think highly of Grant, but I am also not high on the offensive line.

Yay for Ahman!

P.S. The whole Grant contract thing is a classic case of a logical fallicy (post hoc ergo propter hoc, to be exact). Because Grant has had a dip in production AFTER the payday, his lack of production is because of the contract. All I'm saying Ironman is gimme a break, you know there's more too it than that. Only it seems since last night you much prefer the easy answer. Don't look into, don't ask questions, don't speculate as to what other conditions have facilitated a drop in production -- no. Disregard ANY and ALL of that. He's just not trying hard 'cuz he got paid. Good bloody grief.

I don't get the use as the KR.

I guess he has "sure hands" but you need speed to score TDs on KR. That confuses me. If we have no one else, why didn't we sign or draft someone.

Edit ... did Green look bigger to anyone else?

Much bigger.

Reminded me of Edgar Bennet before he lost the weight to play tailback.

Yeah I agree. He really can't do but the same as Grant. If Green is given some carries see what he does, and if he is getting the same yards as Grant then keep him in because of how he hits people on every run.

Another HUGE plus for me from Green is sheer passion. I loved watching him play. He showed a lot of emotion, hustle, and desire to both play and win. Honestly, when's the last time we saw that out of a back?

If healthy, take Green for sure. He is great in short yardage and he fights for the extra yards(which cause his fumbles sometimes). But he gives his all and if Grant is not the long term solution, play Green. He's better, just get in shape.

Maybe 8 carries/game and 2 or 3 passes his way. Maybe as our 3rd down back. If i recall correctly, he was great at protection and he's bigger. Could help the line a little. Plus, you just don't lose that speed. He's good for a long 60 yarderor two at some point. Just hold on to the damn ball and i'll love you. God..........

Since when? There's no way Green makes it down field for 60 unless they stack the box. He hasn't run one past 18 yards in the last 2 1/2 years.

The draft was over in April. At that time we had two KR options, Blackmon and Jordy. I suppose you realized that already though.

I liked that he's not Ryan Grant.
I liked that he HITS someone instead of waiting to get hit and stumbling to the ground.

Hopefully he gets into football shape soon and his legs stay under him.

Other than that. He's nothing to get too excited over. Except, he's not Ryan Grant. Which, I like.
