I'm pretty sure Clifton is responsible for at least 1 sack, and was injured, during the Vikings game in Week 4.

I am not ready to give up on him yet, but I am also not going to advocate for rushing him back into the lineup before he is ready. He was clearly not ready last time. I am not ready to give up on him, but I am done counting on him to be the same ol' Cliffy until he shows that he still has some gas left in the tank.

Yeah, at minimum, let him get right.

I like Ahman Green because he is going to put pressure on Grant to elevate his game and also Ahman knows how to pic blitzes. But I also remember that Ahman has a reputation in the past for being fumble-prone. I would like that this first games use him on pass formations, mainly use him to block and in certain situation to run.

Play Tauscher as a tight end. He keys on JA.

Wherever JA is, that's where Tausch is.

Then run the ball right down JA's throat all f#cking day.

I'm seriously starting to wonder if you and I are the only ones who can read this information.

PEOPLE: If you want to complain that he's old or that his knees are toast, that's fine. But pulling out the "fumble prone" card is just flat-out ignorant - the facts (as presented to us by Zero about 20 times to this point) do not bear this criticism out.

The Vikings recorded 0 sacks in the first game last year and Allen recorded 0 tackles. The only sack recorded in the game was by Kampman.

This was taken off the offical box score for that game. Not that it really matter since it was probably the last game he played where he wasn't a factor. Give kudos to Clifton for that game but even if he were a 100% the best I think we could hope for would be to hold Allen back for the most part. I don't expect 41/2 sacks but I don't expect a goose egg either.

lol what a let down. The title is Green 2 on depth or something and warhawk posts. I was hoping to hear him touch on Green and he's talking about a game from way back when.

(I haven't followed the progression of this thread)
