I'm not really a fan of the new song. Maybe it'll grow on me in a little while, but, well, nothing yet.

Molester? Non Molester? Troubled Childhood? Who cares... He is dead.

I just wish the world, his brothers and sister, the promoters, and his very sick parents would let the guy Rest In Peace.

AND... More important.... Give his children a normal life. They will be privilaged and financially secure... But just give them a normal life as far as not forcing them into the sickness this family has lived in.

Took Mrs. Cheesey to the opening last night. It was pretty amazing. The guy was 50 years old, and could move better then any of the "kids" dancing with him. And what a perfectionist. Every move on every song had to be just so.
He put 100% effort into every number.
Sad that he let drugs take his life away. Such a waste.

Cheesey - Very cool you enjoyed it.

The thing with his entire family though is they were abused pretty badly and they're all very neurotic. I feel bad for all the kids.

EDIT: I see molestation was brought up. Correct me if I'm wrong, but he was never convicted, right? In America, you're innocent until proven guilty. Until he's proven guilty, I won't accuse him. If proven guilty, then I'd boycott his stuff.

I think he was a timebomb waiting to happen though because of his psycho parents, and how far he distanced himself from reality made him an easy target for weird charges. Maybe they're true. But still, you're innocent until proven guilty.

Yup....when you listen to any of them speak, you see the troubled lives they had to endure.
I can't see HOW a father can do that crap to their own children.

Because he hates himself. His children were created by him. So he transfers that hate onto them.

Very sad that it happens, but it does. It happens all the time. The difference is the Jacksons have God-given talent that 99.9% of people don't have.

I hated the fact he took all the Beatles ( or most? ) of the rights to their songs, pretty sneaky if you ask me.

I agree. Think before you speak may not exactly be my forte, no doubt about it.

As far as "taking the Beatles rights" goes. Uh, he paid for them, a shit load of money too. I dont remember if it was 500 million or whatever, it was a lot at the time. The rights were for sale. Anyone could have bought them and he didn't do it to be sneaky. Lets not act like it was some kind of hostile takover of a company 🙂

He made a good business move buying the Beatles songs.
McCartney COULD have outbid him.

Don't get me wrong........i don't believe the same as Jackson on alot of things (like the whole "tree hugging" stuff) but he was a musical genius, and so talented as a dancer.
I can appreciate his talent without agreeing with everything the guy did.

Okay sneaky was wrong choice..I know it was an auction..But he did out bid Paul..

Jackson bought the ATV Music catalogue, which includes the Beatles' songs, on September 6, 1985, for a reported $47m (34m) - outbidding ex-Beatle McCartney.

I know that is a lot of money but I wonder why he thought it was better to outbid something his friend clearly wanted

It was just underhanded if you ask me
