I'd rather end Favre's Streak than win the game. Is that wrong?

Yes, that is wrong.

I have a football injury as do several other people on this board. I wouldn't wish it on anybody, even somebody I was really pissed off at.

Formo - Before the season started, I said we'd split with you guys, sweep da Bears, and shut out 2 opponents. I also said before the first game that whomever wins that game loses the next one (obviously).

I don't think it's going to be close. Sorry, buddy. With all due respect, I don't. I think we'll put up an early lead and force you guys to play catch up. Rodgers will play with a vengeance like you've never seen him before and Driver will light it up in GB.

The score will more likely be 37-24, except as close as those numbers are, several of your scores are meaningless late 4th Q scores.

I don't want Favre streak ended either, personally I want him to retire with it in tact.

I want a clean well played game on both side, with players keeping their emotions in check after the plays. Use the emotion surrounding the day for between the whistles.

I want the Packers to win.. and win by 10 at least (personal wager reasons)..

Most of all.. I want both team to emerge healthy so that this season can be played out evenly and may the best team win out.

Packers will need to intercept Favre a couple times to clinch this one. Minnesotans found out last game about the heartbreak of the game changing fumble and the game losing interceptions that Favre provided for the Packers fans for 15 or so years.

One thing Brett was also known for is throwing INTs in bunches. So I have a feeling that he is due.

Packers win 31-26

My opinion, Brett will be pressing to win this game more so than even the first game in MN... I think that will lead to him making rash throws at times.. especially if we keep AP in check again early.

That and playing on natural grass will impact this game..

I will reserve my comment for Wednesdays Thread after that... :)

Here is a hint though... It will be a big dissapointment for those looking for a Brett/Rodgers show down.

All I have to say is the team that wins this game will probably lead the division after week 9 and going into week 10.

Also RUN the dang ball Mike McCarthy... ( 4-0 if Grant runs it at least 16 times )

I think that works better the other way around. If we're winning, Grant runs the ball at least 16 times.

Favre will have to deal with the noise this time. In MInn, Rodgers had to deal with it.

I hope so. Honestly, I have been disappointed with some of the crowds at the games I have attended. Lambeau doesn't get nearly as loud as it should.

Anyone else scared about this Sidney Rice kid? I don't know if its just a lucky streak or something but he has been on fire. He seems to always find the open area and even when he doesn't he makes great catches in one on one coverage. But he doesn't even seem that fast, he's just a good "throw it up, he'll get it WR".

Berriman is out hopefully too? Any word on him?
