That prediction for players and picks for Joe Thomas is a crock. It's JOE THOMAS, not Anthony Munoz.
Keep Kampman. Use him like Ware is used.

I don't want to turn this into Joe Thomas can be had for what thread, but my guess is probably closer than you think. Thomas is the best young LT in the league. LTs hold the same value as QBs in some league circles. It depends on the player obviously. I would say Joe Thomas is better than any player on the Packers' roster under the age of 30 and not named Aaron Rodgers. Even then, I think I'd rate Rodgers and Thomas very close. Cleveland would hold all the cards. GB is the one that's desperate and not them. There is no point for the Browns to do the deal. Jay Cutler went for two first, Kyle Orton, and a third. Thomas goes for something similar if not more especially since Kampman is an average linebacker in their eyes instead of a great defensive end. At the very least, it takes two firsts a third and a player. All I did was add Hawk who again is very average.

Or named Greg Jennings.
Being better than most of the roster does not merit that many picks. That's downright foolish. I mean seriously look at what you're saying. (I mean no offense here, I'm just baffled at your projection)
"""Joe Thomas for Aaron Kampman is a pipe dream. Yeah maybe Kampman, another player (Hawk?), and two firsts and a third or 2nd for Joe Thomas. """
Aaron Kampman (PRO BOWL DE)
AJ Hawk (Who averages nearly 100 tackles a season)
'10 First Rounder
'11 First Rounder
'10/'11 2nd or 3rd Rounder
FOR
Joe Thomas
See how (sorry) foolish that looks? FIVE players, one pro bowler, another dependable LB'er (half of ur starting LB staff), two first round picks and another pick ... for a LT who's one major injury away from having no career?
Sorry, that's just bogus, bogus, bogus, bogus.
If we had a lot talent and I mean talent as in backups that could be starters else where... okay sure I'll buy into that theory, but fact is, we do not have hardly any backups (Tramon Williams/James Jones) that could start for a half dozen other teams.
We lack the depth to make a trade like that. I understand you're saying that the Browns would be ASKING for that, but I think even for them to ask for that much is bogus.
That's almost as foolish as the Herschel Walker or Ricky Williams trades.
