I was never to impressed with Lee, however that play looked like it was intended to Finley but he tripped and fell so Rodgers went to Lee instead. Now that's my assumption I could be wrong.

So from yesterday's game is Finley our guy to go from now on?

Did anyone see al take out his mouth guard before the ball was caught during that td pass to i think it was berrian? I just thought it was kind of weird.

Once he saw that Martin wasn't there for the help over the top like he expected, he was starting to chew him out. The play was already done, Harris wasn't going to catch up at that point.

Cover 2 + Al Harris=not good. Derrick Martin was his safety most of the time(when he had the support) and they just were never on the same page.

I hate seeing Woodson blitz on 3rd and long(or obvious pass situations). Our best cover guy needs to be in coverage. Let Kampman, Poppinga, Chillar, Matthews rush the QB. That's their job.

Let Al Harris play man. And you know, Bernard Berrian isn't exactly someone Al can run stride for stride with. Tramon should have been locked on him.

Yeah, something like that must surprise the opponents as well... :thumbleft:

He's not only a great cover corner, he's a great blitzer as well. You send people from all kinds of sides and have people in coverage who you wouldn't expect. Just look at Raji or Jolly in the pre-season. We rattled Warner's cage all day long by blitzing from all sides, overloading and sending corners after him.

I applaud these kinds of blitzes. It's what we need. The thing that annoyed me was seeing us in our nickel formation and sending just the two DTs and an OLB. That's the exact same play as Favre had nearly 8 second to throw on.

I have no problems with him blitzing, but why not blitz him on first or second? Its one thing to suprise the opponent, its another to only blitz on one certain down the whole game. If Capers wants to bring pressure than do it the whole game, not just on a third and long when Woodson could be used tp lock down a reciever.

You know what the problem is with our D backs that there is no damn Communication. They all are on different pages most of the time and they need to learn how to communicate.
