Harris gets exposed on a hard fast surface, you can really see the lack of speed on the turf.. on natural grass he makes up for some of it with his decisive cuts.. on turf.. just not able to hide the speed factor..

On Berrian's TD.. Martin blew the over coverage.. he got sucked inside, it was a blown coverage that wasn't totally Harris fault, he had to protect the under.. Martin had the over.

The very reason I despise the zone. Corners or LBs expect to have help and don't get it.
You can be right 9 times out of ten (GB has not been that good) but the 10th time is going to be a TD or at the very least a huge gain that leads to points.

I don't mind the zone as much as not challenging the WR in the zone. I have never seen a rule that says, you cannot jam WR then drop into zone. It is actually easier than playing bump man coverage, because they really don't have to worry about where the WR is going, only needs to jam and drop.

Trade Kampman for a quality tackle it's the only option we've got. His position in this scheme with the players we've got now ... it's replaceable.

Last night was the night I thought Capers would put Kampmans hand on the ground and let him blow by Loadholdt. A rookie who is not a great pass blocker.

Capers seemed so intent on keeping Peterson down he just wouldn't pull the trigger. At a point in the game with the way it was going I was surprised they didn't cut Kampman loose on the edge.

So much for putting your players in a position to be successful. I think Kampman could have pushed Loadholdt back in Favre's face every time.

Said it last week, I think the experiment with Kampman needs to be tinkered with some.. spitting his time more as a down lineman. We all heard that we would be rushing with 4 man fronts a good portion of the passing situations this offseason.. that hasn't happened by a handful of times.

I am disappointed with the schemes we have seen from Capers up to this point.. we are not adjusting within the games to take things away enough.. and definitely not using players to the best of our ability. Kampman is one example.. playing Barnett inside when they continually expose him in traffic is another.

They have been using a 4 man front I guess. Only it has been 2 Dline and 2 OLB. That worked once and not since.

No.. I mean with Kampman in a natural down position with Jolly, Raji and Jenkins filling the other three down gaps..

This allows you still to contain the draws and runs, and if you want.. blitz from there.. not every down but some.

Watch Kampman fire off out a down position verse him try to pass rush from an up one.. night and day. Plus, why in the hell aren't they using him more in the pass rush..

We are a stubborn coaching staff yet.. boggles the mind.

Al is no longer motivated to play in 3-4 D. He is a player that likes to be up close to the defender at all times. Yesterday the Packers were playing a lot Zone and kept getting burned. Either Dom Capers didn't pay attention on how Vikings work or our D just didn't want to win against Favre.

I know, hard to create humor after that game.

I never expected us to use a real 4 man front, but I never expected this 2-5 crap either. I think they need to get back to a normal 3 down setup. We don't have the players like the Gmen to get much pressure from the 2 man. Get the three big men down, and then have the ability to rush kamp from the edge or Matthews from the other. Right now all we are doing is running a 4-3 only with 3 lbers instead of lineman.

Well......giving the QB all day to find an open guy is what killed us. They had some good coverage, but then everything would break down because you know who had 5 to 7 seconds to wait for someone to get open.

Absolutely right!!! Who was that guy who SEALED THE VICTORY against The Bears a few weeks ago?

Earlier this week some were saying the way to beat The Vikings was to stop AP and make BF beat us.

Well it looked to me that is exactly what The Packers did last night, only Brett didn't co-operate.

Next time it may be a different story.

IMHO MM has 2 weeks to figure out how to either get more protection for AR, or develope a plan that gets him moving out of the pocket or using quick slants and screens to loosen up the defense.

Must wins, Detroit,Cleveland, Minnesota, Tampa Bay!!!!!

IMHO Ted Thompson and MM jobs are on the line!!!! Let's see if they can make The Packer Nation believe in them!!!

TT's and MM's jobs are both in jeopardy but if Ted Thompson actually fires MM and some of his staff then there's a chance he can save his job for one more year ... at least.

MM was brought in to work with Rodgers, I think his done as much as he can time to switch this team to a new coach that has a good history with the o-line and the running game.
