Not impressive. Peterson came out of the locker room angry in the 2nd half and Cleveland simply failed to match his intensity in any way shape or form. Other teams will step up, I should hope.

Whoever dyed Chilly's beard did a nice job. Other than that, Favre did a respectable job handing off to Peterson. Their Oline has regressed from last year, and it doesn't look as if Pat Williams did any wind sprints in the offseason. They are not championship material, but we'll wait a while for them to built the momentum for their innevitable late season fall.

The Vikings performance was not stellar, and the Packers performance
was far from stellar as well.
Were it not for the 12th Packer (Jay Cutler) on the field , the Packers might very well now be cuddling up with the Lions.

With that said, there are few things in the NFL the are a certainty.
On any given Sunday, so to speak.

OK.

It's the Bovine Fecal Matter comment that throws everyone off, which of course, I am appalled because my cow dung analagies are not limited to the topic of the Minnesota Vikings.

BTW, what kind of smack did they put in that I V at halftime?

Ok i will say this that i was impressed and before you jump on me saying im a Favre fister let me explain. Brett played in the Vikings system and didn't come out as the gunslinger which impressed me (but lets see how long it keeps up) I was waiting the whole game for him to get pressure and just launch one of his jump balls into triple coverage. AP enough said. The defense looks strong but then again it was the Brownies 😛
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

You hit it, Vikes. Probably not as intended. You see, while you were playing your version of the b.s. gong show, I was over at P.P.O. re-reading the comments from your fellow members (if you were a member there, that is) regarding our pre-season game against the Browns.

The consensus? The Browns are the absolute worst team in the NFL, we played no one. The media hype is ridiculous, etc.

Then I went and read the post-game analysis thread from your match-up against the Browns.

Brady Quinn was surprisingly good, that was a tough team just played, obvious we (the Vikes) are a play-off caliber team, etc.

What did you hit, you might ask?

Your word, Vikes, your word. Just to once and for all prove that I am as full of b.s. as you...possibly more, possibly less... I was gonna use your word....

What do you got over there, about 8000 members? About 100 of them have at least a smattering of G2 between the ears...The rest???

Oxymorons.

I like it.

They are going nowhere if they are only going to pass the ball further than 6 yards 4 times in a game.. hell TJ could have done that for 11.5 million less of our revenue shared money. 😉
