Cutting Smith was a bad move...cant really argue with any other moves though.

On the other hand, Sutton hardly played at all and he got cut too, so apparently his fate was sealed before the game. Too bad. I really can't see him clearing waivers.

Flipside thought, maybe they know what they have in Sutton and didn't want to show him off to much because they wanted to sneak him onto the practice squad in case Wynn gets hurt or Jacksons chin is worse than expected.

What happened to his chin???

Wasn't it Jackson who had a high chin bruise?

Not a fan of cutting Sutton. Smith and not keeping a 3rd QB...

Going with 2 QBs is okay... but just risky and I don't like that risk. Sutton and Smith played well enough to stay... and other than Collins, Smith played better then all of the other Safeties.... I don't think Smith got cut because he's on the field play....

I don't know much about Derrick Martin (the guy they traded Tony Moll for).

Also I don't understand keeping Rouse.... he played horrible this preseason...

I'm glad they kept all 3 FBs and they kept the best on the OL even if it meant cutting a draft pick.

I have never had a problem with Jarret Bush. He has been a solid player from the beginning.
He just seems to be in the spotlight when he makes a mistake, and it seems that many here are just hoping and waiting for him to screw up so they can jump all over it.

I'm betting if you actually go back and break down his performances that he has graded out just as high or higher than anyone else who has played his position.

He either has naked pictures of Ted Thompson and MM stashed away or he is better than most give him credit for, because once again he is on the 53 man roster.

With only 2 qb's on the roster I have a feeling there will be some changes in the next couple of days, the guys who were on the bubble shouldn't get to comfortable just yet.

Whatever happens, these are the guys that management chose to keep, so I hope evryone backs them to the hilt for the rest of the season.

There my yearly post that no-one will adhere to, because as soon as someone makes a mistake, or an opposing player makes a great play, the blame game will begin as it always does!!!

Not many will agree with the above statement, but I do.

Personally, I think Bush's athletic ability is off the charts - it's exactly the type needed to be successful in Capers' 3-4 zone blitz scheme.

Don't the Packers have Swain playing CB as well?

Smith cut makes no sense, and cutting Martin/Brohm was a bit of a shocker to me.

I don't understand why we bother putting Harrel on IR. Is it possible to have an entire career on the IR?
