I don't think there is any big surprises there other than maybe the TEs choices and 6 ILBers.

But I figure they picked TE Taylor and the ILBers for STs, which I wouldn't be surprised if they played STs, though I think one of the ILBers will be cut. Not sure which one.

Also surprised with Mulligan not being on the roster. They talked about his injury though so maybe that.

Quarterbacks (2): Aaron Rodgers, Vince Young

Running backs (5): DuJuan Harris, Eddie Lacy, Johnathan Franklin, Alex Green, Starks
I keep Starks over Kuhn. People talk shit about he's "fumbled to the bottom of the depth chart," but let's be real. Dude was the star of the first few weeks of TC. They've already got film on him. They know what they have. Let's get film on the other guys and keep Starks healthy in the process.

Receivers (5): Randall Cobb, James Jones, Jordy Nelson, Jarrett Boykin, Tyrone Walker
I thought this was bold. They cut Ross. They just have the 5 WRs, but they've got a bevy of passcatching TEs.

Tight ends (4): Jermichael Finley, Ryan Taylor, Brandon Bostick, Jake Stoneburner
I like this alot, although I'd prefer Quarless over Taylor. Yeah I know "ST demon." I don't care.

Offensive line (8): David Bakhtiari, Josh Sitton, Evan Dietrich-Smith, T.J. Lang, Don Barclay, Marshall Newhouse, Greg Van Roten, Lane Taylor
Ted picks up or trades for a backup C.

Defensive line (6): Ryan Pickett, B.J. Raji, C.J. Wilson, Datone Jones, Mike Daniels, Johnny Jolly

Linebackers (10): A.J. Hawk, Brad Jones, Clay Matthews, Nick Perry, Robert Francois, Jamari Lattimore, Sam Barrington, Terrell Manning, Mike Neal, Andy Mulumba

Specialists (3): Brett Goode (long snapper), Tim Masthay (punter), Mason Crosby (kicker).
I do believe they'll keep Crosby, although it digusts me.

Also I think Van Rotten is good enough back-up in the coaches mind.

Ryan Grant was originally signed by the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2005 but was traded to the Green Bay Packers shortly before the 2007 season in exchange for a future sixth-round draft pick.

Trade deadline was Week 6 during the 2007 NFL season.

Quarterbacks (2): Aaron Rodgers, Vince Young

I have waiver on Young vs Harrell a few times. I wish one of them would stand up and do the job and conVINCE mw that he is a reliable #2.

Running backs (5): DuJuan Harris, Eddie Lacy, Johnathan Franklin, Alex Green, John Kuhn

I have had Starks ahead of Kuhn all year. I like Kuhn but expected GB to go another route this year. From what I have seen it doesn’t look like it. John may not have the most talent in the NFL but he certainly has heart. I gotta love it.

Receivers (5): Randall Cobb, James Jones, Jordy Nelson, Jarrett Boykin, Tyrone Walker

Based on the first 2 preseason games Boykin has passed Ross. Walker looks good when he plays against the junior varsity but it would not surprise me if he gets the nod over Ross as well.

Tight ends (4): Jermichael Finley, Ryan Taylor, Brandon Bostick, Jake Stoneburner

Post draft I was sure Stoneburner would be PS material. He still could be. I have not given up on Quarless yet.

Offensive line (8): David Bakhtiari, Josh Sitton, Evan Dietrich-Smith, T.J. Lang, Don Barclay, Marshall Newhouse, Greg Van Roten, Lane Taylor

Lane too was tab for the PS by me. I wonder if it comes down to him vs a 5th TE or 6th WR.

Defensive line (6): Ryan Pickett, B.J. Raji, C.J. Wilson, Datone Jones, Mike Daniels, Johnny Jolly
Moving Neal to the LB list gives them only 6. I can live with this.

Linebackers (10): A.J. Hawk, Brad Jones, Clay Matthews, Nick Perry, Robert Francois, Jamari Lattimore, Sam Barrington, Terrell Manning, Mike Neal, Andy Mulumba

I am slightly surprised that Mulumba makes the team. Everyone loves him but we have seen it so many times before that Lbers look great for a year- year and a half then are gone. I thought a stint on the PS would show the Packers if he was for real or not.

Defensive backs (10): Sam Shields, Tramon Williams, Casey Hayward, Micah Hyde, Davon House, Jarrett Bush, Morgan Burnett, M.D. Jennings, Jerron McMillian, Chris Banjo

I didn’t think Banjo would make the team. 9 DB and then fill in with one of the many other bubble players.

Specialists (3): Brett Goode (long snapper), Tim Masthay (punter), Mason Crosby (kicker).

Ultimately there are only a few places where the roster could be changed. Barring Uncle Teddy trading someone off for a conditional draft pick or an injury or three.

Edit- Kevin Dorsey may be placed on the PS but Charles Johnson won't last so they could try to stick him away on the IR for a year and see what develops next year.
