Greenbaybums.com:

For those who dont know what a TROMALOGUE is, its like a live blog, but drunk.

PRE-GAME

-Just watched the first quarter of the Bears game. Cutler had a terrible debut. He should have had two picks. He finished with only one in ten throws. Ha.

FIRST QUARTER

-Rodgers not looking sharp early on. It happens.

-Nevermind, he just threw a 53 yard TD to Driver. My goodness that was awesome. Also, the running game looked pretty decent. Solid blocking and some nifty cuts by Grant were noticed. I hope to see more of that!

-And the first mini fight breaks out on the kickoff. The Packers have been beating the crap out of each other all week. Its good to see them fight other teams now. They needed this. The 3-4 defense is about to debutIve got a boner.

-WR reverse carves up the packers D. Thatll get a nice look at tomorrow morning.

-After a whole bunch of plays, the Browns MISS a FG. 7-0 Packers lead. The 3-4 defense looked really good. They stopped the run well, bit on that damn wr reverse, and Quinn made some good plays. Overall, since this is all backups on our D tonight.AWESOME.

-Apparently GB can run the ball. Wynn looks good. Jackson looks good. Ryan Grant looks good.

-The HB tosspitch.worked. For a touchdown. Ryan Grant. That play never worked for us. This is a special. 14-0 Pack.

-3 and out by GB. Jolly looks good. The defense refuses to be ran on.

SECOND QUARTER

-Flynn is in and my attention for this game will start to fade.

-Flynn fights for more yards better than finley does.

-13:09 - GB gets its first penalty of the day. False start. Not bad so far. First penalty of the game!

-2nd penalty. Ineligible downfield, Sitton. Ironman is punching walls now.

-3rd penalty. 78, illegal formation. Barbre. Sigh

-Crosby just missed a 60 yarder. Hit the crossbar. His 79% FG completion rating last year better be improved on this year. Im watching you.

-Defensive holding on Rouse. Worst call of the preseason so far. There was no penalty.

-Tramon Williams INTERCEPTION. Good pressure led to a not great pass. Tramon Williams Pro Bowl.

-5th penalty,false start 70. TJ Lang

- Flynn just had about 10 seconds to throw the ball with the BACKUP oline. He completed to Jones for the first. The Oline play has been AMAZING so far, except the handful of penalties.

-6th penalty, tight end? False start. IronMan: deep breath

-Flynn has been crushed like 3 times already. Hes gonna need ice.

-Crosby 02 tonight (60,55). Yikes

-6th penalty, 2nd on defense.

-Browns drive to the goal line after Anthony Smith gets owned.

-Anthony Smith makes up for it with an INTERCEPTION in the back of the endzone. Poor Brady Quinn. Hooray Anthony Smith!

-Brandon Jackson with another impressive long run. Say hello to your #1 running back.

THIRD QUARTER

-Blackmon on a blitz pushed his blocker into the QB causing a FUMBLE!!!!!!! Browns recovered but still, the pressure we get on the QB consistently is just awesome. I just wrote a thing about how DBs are gonna get to the QBs. Yeah. Look at that.

-Brohm time aka Suck time. First pass is intercepted. Womp womp.

-Desmond Bishop INTERCEPTION. Was it all camp hype? I dont think so. Bishop is real!

-Rouse is hurt. Here we go

-Desmond Bishop SACK! Damn!!!!!! Hes fast and mean!!!!!!! Well be seeing him a LOT in 2009.

-Who the hell? Sutton just came in at RB and has been tearing it up! This guy is FAST. Hes at MAX speed before he even reaches the line of scrimmage. Wow. Impressed.

FOURTH QUARTER

-Brohm interception #2, off Jaron Harris hands. I dont know who that is. This is 4th quarter preseason football, aka SHIT. I dont even know half these people.

- Anthony Smith SACK! So he has a pick and a sack just like Bishop. By the way I wrote this thing the other day about how the DBs were gonna get more sacks this year. Yeah.

-Trevor Ford in the game. Remember that name, because nobody else will. Who the hell ARE these people?!?!

-Quinn Johnson is an awesome fullback. Hes reliable. He hits the LB every time and opens a hole. He does not stop. He does not get knocked back. He is good and thats one of the reasons GB has over 200 rushing yards in this game. Thats right, over 200 rushing yards.

-Crosby finally hits a field goal. 45 yarder. Good for him.

-Charlie Peprah INTERCEPTION!!!!!!! The 3-4 defense magically turned everyone good. Maybe Ted Thompson actually was bringing in good people but our coaches were idiots. All of a sudden Jeremy Thompson, Desmond Bishop, Peprah, etc are all good!

-Fans boo as time runs out and the packers kneel at the Browns goal line. Some fans are idiots. Its preseason. We won easily. Were not rubbing it in, were a classy organization, although obviously the fans arent.

17-0 PACKERS WIN!

Verdict: The Packers are awesome.

Read this and then go read the 1st Quarter of Bedard's game day blog. He sounds like he forgot to take his antidepressants.
