$35 million guaranteed. Makes Aaron's 6 year/$65 million extension seem like a bargain in comparison.

With all due respect on all parties, Eli has a ring, Aaron does not. Eli also has a few more years of starting under his belt than Aaron.

With that said, I am glad we signed Aaron when we did for what we did. I think it was kind of a rush, but it's a risk that our team took that I think was worth while.

I do NOT think that Eli is good enough to be worth that kind of money.

Eli has a ring. So does Trent Dilfer. Eli has done nothing but put up mediocre stats on a great team. Given, last season was somewhat decent, but I still think that he might be the most overrated player in the game today. I don't think he's worth the money either. Think of what the Giants could've done with Phillip Rivers.

All due respect to Eli and his ring but after watching both players actually play the game I would rather have Aaron for that 100m contract than have Eli for Aaron's 65m contract.

Eli has a lower career completion percentage than David Carr. If Aaron had come in and played the way Eli usually does last year he would be the most hated person on Green Bay.

I respectfully disagree, Rock. I don't think Eli Manning is the most overrated player in the game today, simply because until his "miraculous" playoff run the year they won the Super Bowl, fans everywhere were ready to crucify the man. Everyone knew how mediocre he is. It's amazing how a glittering piece of jewelry can blind people to facts that were transparent previously.

I believe the title of most overrated player goes to one Ben Roethlisberger. Yes, he has two rings (*glitter glitter*), but outside of one season, his numbers have been truly appalling.

I think Eli is a fair QB and I think the Giants paid a bit too much. But, Eli doe have a ring. When it comes down to it, wins matter, stats don't. He played lights out in the playoffs during the Giants Super Bowl run and beat a team that won 18 games in a row.

Ben hasn't had elite numbers but they haven't been bad like Eli's. Ben's only bad year was the one after his motorcycle accident.

Any kid can tie a rope to his daddy's bike and coast along for the ride. That doesn't mean he gets credit for doing the heavy lifting even if he wins the Big Wheel race.

The fact that Aaron Rodgers put up such impressive numbers on such a disappointing team show how good he really is, whereas players like Roethlisberger and Manning have been privileged to play with dominant defenses and sit on the Big Wheels while their daddies pulled them around. As far as I'm concerned, one miracle play does not a good quarterback make. Everyone gets lucky once in their life.

Actually, Eli's numbers have been significantly better than Ben's almost every year:

I'll make a pretty table later, but right now I'm in a hurry.
