Charles Manson never killed anyone. I always thought he had a way with words, and I have never been pleased with the public speaking skills of our FO.

I used to be an avid hunter, so I have done my fair share of killing animals over the years.

We have a whole mess of cute little bunny rabbits living in our neighborhood. One of them in particular has been straying way too close to my front door.

I think the next time he does, I'll go out and beat that little friggin' bastard to death with a baseball bat.

I mean, it isn't like he's a human, or anything, and if I get caught, I'll just say that it was the mistake that it truly was.

Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Roundup: Murphy not biting on Vick
A day after GM Ted Thompson passed on a chance to say no to signing Michael Vick, his boss downplayed the chances of the controversial quarterback ending up in Green Bay, according to Press-Gazette business reporter Rich Ryman.

"How do you say it, much ado about nothing," Packers President and CEO Mark Murphy said this morning, during a media conference to announce the Packers' new lottery deal.

"I don't see anything there. I don't anticipate anything happening there."

Murphy emphasized that Thompson's point was the Packers look at everyone, and as I noted yesterday, that's Thompson's philosophy when discussing (or, more accurately, not discussing) personnel decisions.

While Murphy at least stated an opinion on the issue, he stopped short of saying "absolutely not" -- the only response capable of putting this issue entirely to rest, however unlikely a scenario as Vick-to-Green-Bay might be.

This coming from the one getting all wound up about a post disagreeing with your talent assessment of Vick as a QB or the fact that we have now posted several times on a simple"tone it" down comment.

As far as I am concerned.. it was dead a while back. 😉

I think it's time we have that hunting trip in the ND Badlands. We'll all stand on the top of the ridge blasting and let the word Nazi go down the steep hills retreiving our kill. And I don't care if he loses that leg on the way down, I have an electric winch and a long rope.

I'm not offended by Twinkies language or anyone in this forum, well maybe Haze. In fact sometimes you just gotta say What the Fu__.

Can we please start teasing Formo and Vikesrule about their quarterback situation?

How the hell did we get here?

We have a smack area for calling out other members by flames like Asstards or whatever.. that is where the line is drawn, otherwise all threads will disintegrate to the nonstop volley of name slinging..

Was one word uttered until the member labeling was thrown out.. nope.. use whatever language you want, it is a reflection of the poster. Nip it in the bud type action.. nothing more. Damn now I am a censor.. lol.

Now about this hunting trip, is Vick invited or not? Or in other words.. bird dogs welcome?

Like Rodman once said in an interview "I don't belong in Utah". ND is probably worse.

As far as the rules go: I guess us little people need to conform, but I give my permission to all to call me whatever you want whenever. It's all I've ever known.

Spent some time in ND.. I can relate to that comment. But Western Nebraska and Kansas are much further along..

First, if I have ever sounded out of line or whatever, I apologize post haste, I nor anyone else here are "bigger" than any other.

With that said, we have all seen that flame wars of the past that "blown" up thread after thread..

Hence this type of thread..http://www.packershome.com/index.php?name=ForumsPro&file=viewtopic&t=1021

Nothing more than allowing things to escalate...

BTW... Dakota.. my permission is granted to you as well..

Now back to Vick.. Does anyone really believe that this is a likely landing spot for him?

Warren Moon was on Mike and Mike this morning talking about Vick's next step.. and they all believed it would be the CFL or the UFL.. the CFL would capitalize on Vick's abilities and would be fun to watch.

BTW... Dakota.. the permission is granted both ways there my friend.. even if Peppers didn't make it to GB this season.

If we don't have our flame wars once in a while, please, what's the point of this place? Might as well start a knitting class. We have strong personalities in here and I find it a wonderful thing. If I think someone has a left field point of view, I will needle him/her a little bit. And I hope they come back at me the same way.

No, Michael Vick will not be a Packer.
