No way the pack goes 7-9 this year ...

10-6 at least is what I predict

I see us beating the vi-queens both games this year and trounching the bears both games.

a definition of luck in sports

http://www.advancednflstats.com/2008/12/luckiest-teams-through-week-15.html
In week 15 you learn how the numbers are arrived at

And since it has become readily apparent that some don't actually click on the links I post, as evidenced in some of the replies, I will give you a tidbit to chew on from the above link.

The Charmed One

Looking back at 2007's luckiest/unluckiest teams, one thing stood out as most remarkable. Last year Green Bay was the #1 luckiest team while the Jets were near the bottom at #31. But this year the Packers are the least lucky team while the Jets are the luckiest. So what changed? According some minor media reports, I vaguely recall an obscure quarterback was traded from the Packers to the Jets...

Green Bay; 28th in luck

Yes, I mentioned DVOA in the past, but that doesn't make it either the best or the most interesting crap out there.

This guy gives me a laugh, which in and of itself is far superior to that crap at Football Outsiders...plus I prefer to cherry-pick my statistics-I'm unique in that, lol.

I am renamimg his luck calculations in honor of the psuedo-sophisticates at Football Outsiders.

Green bay is 4th on PUMF or as I said, 28th in his more mainstream geek definition.

poor unlucky mother fu#Kers

7-9?

Thay are just as likely to go 16-0. At this point in the season, ANYTHING is possible. Of course a 7-9 is more probable than a 16-0 but who is to say that the Packers don't come of age this year and go gangbusters?

EVERYTHING is conjecture at this point and we can choose to believe what we want. I choose to believe that the Packers will go 16-0...

God bless us.

What's there?

I think you mean, "Hear, hear."

And yes, I can rag on you because you're a Wisconsinite, and therefore a native speaker of English. :pottytrain2:
