Hmmm, 136 Kline Plaza. Google maps has nothing but a satellite photo of that place. Tracking you down, Dave.

Hows this for Karma

Years ago I had taken my son to Burger King and while walking in my son saw a 100.00 bill laying on the ground. Keep in mind this is in December and it spitting rain/snow and is about 20 degrees out. The bill was frozen to the ground and had been run over several times.

After carefully extracting it in one piece and defrosting it I had me a FREE 100.00.

I carried around that bill for a good 3 months not wanting to spend it because I wanted to brag to all my friends while showing them the actual bill.

In the meantime I had been repaid on a loan I gave my brother for 550.00 dollars. I happened to be going out that night for one of my then frequent heavy drinking nights on the town.

Night goes on and I eventually end up waking up on my couch the next day. I reach in my pocket and no wallet, so I check the next pocket with the same result and so on. Then I turn my couch upside down and thoroughly search my house.....nothing.

So I ended up losing the 100.00 I found plus 550.00 of my own.

Karma is a bitch.

WOW DD80!
That alot of money to lose.
If i had found your wallet, you would have got it back, with the money still in it.
You can't really feel bad about finding the $100. It wasn't in a wallet where you knew who it belonged to.

OK--10 days ago paid $.799 per gal for 30 gallons. One of the tanks (same) on the truck had gasoline in it, so I took along two gas cans in order to "max out" at 30 gallons.

In the subsequent 10 days, we have amassed 918 points. That is good for $.90 off a gallon (30 gal max). Here's the thing, though. As Cheesey alluded to, this is not without some cost in the whole "stocking up" and brand/product selection arena. I have not had a "real" coke in over a month.

My running joke had always been along the lines of, "The corn don't know", as in non-brand-name corn doesn't know it's non brand name, and we have actually had that discussion here about what is allowed/authorized/tolerated regarding house brand products. The thing is, this shit is getting out of hand here at the dfosterf household...and I'm the guy that is always trying to sneak the non-brand name past the wife, not vice-versa, which is apparently not how many/most households roll based on our previous discussions on these weighty matters.

Not why I bumped this thread. None of the above.

I am drawing a line in the GD sand.

I knew I had trouble when I looked around about an hour ago and saw the car was gone, so I called her cell phone....No answer. Just like some of you have opined that they would allow some "leeway" in the faithful department regarding your girlfriend and Greg Jennings...given the alternatives I would have preferred she was out galavanting to what I knew she was doing- grocery shopping. I grocery shopped friggin' Friday, so I knew she was up to no good there, and I was correct in my suspicions.

Back to the line in the sand statement. So she rolls in with a warehouse (slight exaggeration) of those GD house-brand sodas (I am getting up at 4 am from now on and removing the GD grocery store insert)--OK, OK, the line in the sand thing.

She walks back in our office and says, "I need help unloading the groceries and you like hummus, right?"

Hummus. As in Athenos brand Artichoke and Garlic with wholesome chickpeas, pure olive oil, and artichokes.

That is it. I am taking a stand, RFN. Just like I would not allow my daughters, much less my sons, to play soccer, (not that there is anything wrong with that, if you catch the drift) this WILL NOT turn into some hummus-eating household, and I don't care if Giant offers to park a GD tanker in my driveway and fill my cars up for free until hell freezes over....we will not be eating any GD hummus in the friggin' Dfosterf house, and that is friggin' that.

Hummus. WTF is hummus, anyway...I think it is some yogurt mixed with sand or something...friggin' hummus, for christ saks. :thumbleft:

Edit-- My wife apparently thinks we are going to go down the effeminate vortex slide straight into Subaru ownership with a "save the whales" and a panda sticker on the back, complete with a GD kayak and a bicycle on the friggin' roof rack.

Not on this Marine's watch.

Mucky Tundra (21h) : Colts 1st round TE Tyler Warren also got prank called, was that Jax Ulbrich as well?
Zero2Cool (21h) : Jax Ulbrich, Jeff Ulbrich’s son, released an apology for his role in the Shedeur Sanders prank call.
Martha Careful (21h) : apparently he did not participate in practice or play on the east west shrine game nor the NFL combine. The kid was a mediocre spoiled brat
Mucky Tundra (22h) : Yeah that one that was a super wounded duck that Sanders supporters are highlighting to prove a point
Zero2Cool (22h) : Shough is the guy who missed guys at combine isn't he?
beast (22h) : It's not official until I'm dead! I have a chance still! (Not really)
Mucky Tundra (27-Apr) : I could feel my body decomposing in real time when I read that

Martha Careful (26-Apr) : Bum Phillips used to say there are two ways to get better. Get better players or get players to play better. We have a new DL coach
Zero2Cool (26-Apr) : Yes. Look at the losses last year. They can win.
beast (26-Apr) : Can Packers win with their current DL?
bboystyle (26-Apr) : waiting for a pass rusher.

Martha Careful (25-Apr) : No thanks. Not a dependable guy to be in the right place and run the right route. Dumb as a box of rocks.
Zero2Cool (25-Apr) : Losing 2nd round pick for a one year rental, not ideal. Especially a headcase.
TheKanataThrilla (25-Apr) : Pickens for Jaire may be interesting. Definitely not sure we want Pickens long term.
