I say keep the younger players that have big upside and let Tauscher walk, I like him and everything, but I don't want to let go one of our young O-Linemen.

Maybe he will decide to retire.

Anyway, I want to talk about the defensive line.

It would look like this: Jenkins on one side, Pickett in the middle, and Raji on the other side.

If I'm not mistaken, the opposing team would have to double team Raji AND Pickett, leaving Jenkins being blocked by only one lineman. That could force the opposing team to play a TE the majority of the time to help block Jenkins. That would be an advantage to the Packers.

I see Jenkins having a great season.

Correct me if I am wrong on my assessment, though.

I think Dom Capers was licking his chops to come to Green Bay. We have serious talent on the defensive side of the ball.

I would not be surprised to see Jenkins at the pro bowl next year. He was absolutely kickin butt before the injury. If he can play like that all year and Raji is for real then we are going see some good football this season.

Teams aren't going to use 6 guys to block 3 guys.... just not going to happen... because that would leave 5 guy against 8....

Other teams will probably try to double Raji or Pickett or double at the point of attack and everyone else will have one on one match ups.

I think Dom Capers was licking his chops to come to Green Bay. We have serious talent on the defensive side of the ball.

Coach Williams ( the Defensive Coordinator MM was trying to hire but choose the Saints because he son wants to play his SR. In the 3-4 the DL doesn't usually ever put up good numbers and with out good numbers most don't go to the Pro-bowl so the chances of a DL from a 3-4 DL team are slim I think ... UNLESS someone is killing other teams OL or getting a lot of hype. Green Bay doesn't seem to be the place for hype other than for maybe QBs. Just saying I think the chances are slim.

Damn Beast, come here for a day and you're busting my balls.

The probowl is a popularity contest. Still Jenkins will dominate this year. I hear what you're saying about putting up some solid #'s, that will be reserved for the LBs. So maybe it'll take him 2 years to get there because people won't know who he is this year.

I'm reaching so back to the micro for me
