Don't get me wrong cheesey i'm glad they paid Jennings, I'm happy for the guy.
But don't it seem fishy that Ted Thompson wouldn't spend money when the devil was here and wouldn't trade up in the draft and now the devil is gone he does what is totally opposite to his nature.
I think Jennings was overpaid stats wise but i believe he got rewarded for keeping his mouth shut and just doing what he agreed to when he signed the first contract, and for that he gets a huge thumbs up from me.
Little note for cheesey, I bought the Wii today with Wii fit so maybe we can hook up online and play sometime :)

Thompson signed Woodson and Pickett when so and so was here. Woodson was signed for a fairly big contract. Enough to have a lot of complainers about it and I was skeptical myself. He also extended Bubba Franks which was a mistake as well Driver. I believe the contract Thompson gave to Franks made Franks pretty up there among tight-ends in dollars.
So the connect the dots just isn't there.
As far as Jennings stats. The deal will depend on more so what Jennings does in the future than now. All deals do, but Jennings also has ranked quite high in yards per reception. Steve Smith and Randy Moss like high so I'm not sure I would say he's overpaid, but if you believe there is such thing as a consistent market then perhaps, but the problem is eventually Boldin, Braylon Edwards, and Brandon Marshall will probably surpass Jennings in dollars and Jennings deal begin to look better.
Same thing applies for Rodgers. Rodgers' contract is going to look like nothing compared to what Phillip Rivers, Eli Manning, and Jay Cutler are probably going to be paid.
