Justin Harrell decided to talk to the media, what did that get him?

One second prior to that conversation being published, I was good with Justin for this off-season, patience-wise. Now I'm so pissed at him I feel like dragging up the crap I was saying about him LAST year.

The point being that my suspicions about Kampy are that he IS having some difficulties in at least some of the aspects of his new responsibilities, he is not particularly pleased with himself or the possibly the circumstances that have created the scenario that is forcing this change upon him, and he don't feel like talking about it. Like at least one article said, he's going with the- "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all" school of thought.

He might not be any good at his new responsibilities. He might transition magnificently. A week out of pads is certainly not enough time for him, his coaches or anyone to make that determination. He might be getting impatient, and while it isn't the best scenario to be imagined, it isn't the end of the world. Hopefully this is a "time heals all wounds" deal, or more specifically, "intensive practice with the new scheme" heals all wounds.

Again, all I'm saying is Mike McCarthy should not have addressed the situation via the media. Obviously Kampy doesn't want the media in it.

As usual, anything that is viewed as a criticism of the GB organization is met with the worn-out and tired "you hate Ted" reply.

Forget rational debate........GB as an organization does nothing wrong, ever. Even slight criticism leads to the same hardheadedness from the usual suspects.

So....Mike McCarthy tries to deflect the constant questioning, and he's a bad guy? Should he have just said "Go ask Kampman"??? Yeah, that sounds great. Go bug the guy that doesn't want to talk about it.

And lets face the truth. It's not like your opinion is "unbiased". Every chance you get to blast Ted Thompson or Mike McCarthy, you are quick to do so.

And i am NOT a "Ted Thompson lover". I just believe in giving a person the chance to do their job before calling for their heads. If they don't produce this coming season, then i might jump on the "Ted Thompson needs to go" bandwagon.

Most of it boils down to you thinking that Ted Thompson made Brett Favre go bye bye. Even though the facts have dissproved that.

I got a chuckle out of this whole post, especially the part that said you are not a Ted lover. Then you bring up Brett as the reason but as pointed out time after time after time after time I can show you a whole forum where I bitched about Ted long before the Brett fiasco. You can't seem to understand that though for whatever reason.

Anyways Kampy is unhappy, you can try to act like he's not but you and I know it's true. I've read numerous other forums about this subject and noone is even disputing the fact. It crystal clear. but you can believe what you want to if it makes you feel better.

How can it be fact or crystal clear when the guy himself has not yet said a word? Until then it's speculation. It's early in the learning curve for him. He doesn't play a game for three months so whether he's "unhappy" how it's going now, or, somewhat overwhelmed, or, maybe even confused by it all does it really matter? Nobody expected him to walk on the field and get it right away and be over confident at this point anyhow.

I think one of the side benefits for Kampman in this defense is he won't be constantly battling OT'S and TE's and fighting through double teams all game long and won't wear down like he has the last couple of years when we need him the most and playing his best at the end of the year.

I'm not making judgement on him at all. I'm sure he is a little PO'd about being in a contract year and being moved from a position he was comforatable with. I'm really not knocking anyone, just simply stating right now Kampy seems to have some kind of issue with it and I hope it doesn't lead to bigger things.

I think the only way it could lead to bigger things is if he just doesn't get it, or, Capers fails to use him right and I don't think that will happen.

If I were Kampman I wouldn't really worry about the contract year that much. If he's good in what Capers asks him to do he will get a great payday here. If not, every 4-3 team out there knows what he can do so his big payday will come either way.

If he doesn't transition to the 3-4 well there will still be a big time bidding war from teams that don't use it and he knows that so I don't see that being an issue.

This is just as much speculation as the other but I have a hard time believing after a few practices Kampman is like freaking out hating the system all ready. It's change and change can be difficult in the beginning so I am going with he wants to absorb as much as he can so when he does say something he will at least have some feel for what he is talking about.

Kampman was still at the voluntary camps so he obviously is not THAT mad if mad at all. I am so tired of Mike McCarthy and Ted Thompson coming up in these conversations.
Someone said it earlier around the likes of the media makes a lot of Packers fans their bitch. Everything is read into wayyy too much now-n-days. I am going to make my blog and start beating around the bush.
Kampman is not a huge media guy in the first place.

OK.

If Kampy has "Some Kind Of Issue With It." Well then tell him to "Lead Follow, or Get The Fuck Out Of The Way."

This is a team sport. The Packers are a football TEAM.

How you prevent this kind of "Bull Shit" from becoming bigger things is deal with it. Right Now. Before training camp begins.

That said... I think Kampy will be there... and I do not feel he is the kind of guy to disrupt things. It may be his agent. However, the Packers need to make the point clear to the agent, at the same time let Kampy know he is loved and respected as a player for what he has done.....

AND... If you feel you will not be happy... We will do our best to give you a career adjustment, if the opportunity is right for The team.

DD80.....i see.......if i think a guy DESERVES a chance to prove himself, that makes me a Ted Thompson LOVER" in your eyes.

Funny thing is.........back when Ol' Brett started here, and was throwing air balls all over the place that were being intercepted, i heard alot of Packer fans screaming to put Don Majkowski back on the field. I, on the other hand, told people to give Favre a chance.
You see, i am consistant. I am FAIR.
I believe in giving a guy a fair chance without "Monday Morning Quarterbacking" their every move.
If that makes me a "TT LOVER" in your eyes, so be it.

And lets face facts. Yes, you "hated" Ted Thompson all along. Even though in my eyes, he hasn't done anything that deserves that. So the BF deal has nothing to do with your hatred???
Thats how you act anytime i bring it up. Like the BF thing isn't one of the MAIN reasons you hate the guy.
Yeah.....right......LOLOL!!!
