Wolf really did hit a grand slam with his evaluation of Favre. I mean nobody saw it coming, but Wolf himself. I think one of the reasons why Thompson was hired was because Wolf recommended him and quite honestly, Wolf would know best.

When your a decision maker if your hitting on about 35% of your moves your not doing so bad. Wolf wasn't going to hit everything and you can also point to Rhodes being a disaster as a hire, but I would still value his opinion over maybe anyone's that has worked in this organization in the past two decades.

Wolf wasn't going to hit everything and you can also point to Rhodes being a disaster as a hire, but I would still value his opinion over maybe anyone's that has worked in this organization in the past two decades.

I would say between 30% and 35% is where you'd want to be with your moves if you want to be a Super Bowl contender.

GM's make so many decisions that there is no way you can get more right than wrong. It's just the nature of the business.

We're all people so criticizing Thompson over his massive ego is hypocritical especially when half of the people that we all admire like a Brett Favre and a Mike Holmgren also have egos.
