That couldn't be farther from the truth. Frost was extremely consistent. He sucked with every punt.

The 'move' was good, the replacement was freaking awful. We needed improvement at the punter position for sure, no question. Our staff failed miserably in replacing Jon Ryan. And that's putting it nicely.

Definitely one of TT's bad moves. We should have at least held onto Ryan until someone earned the starting spot over him. It was so strange, the sudden release, that I wonder if more happened behind the scenes. They are very hush-hush about their dealings with players, which is a good thing, but leaves us fans confused.

Well, here's the thing - you don't quit your job until you find one that is better.

From another perspective - you don't fire an employee until you find another that is better.

The Packers special teams coach convinced Ted that Frost was better. Turns out Ted was frosted by that and Mike did the team a favor in letting that coach... oh no he retired... sure. He was going to be let go 🙂

He had how many fake punts? One?

"Nonstopdrivel" wrote:

Even if it was just one, that has to be the most memorable Packer fake punt I've ever seen.

I think besides Desmond Howard's returns, that's 2nd in ST plays behind Chester Marcol getting a FG blocked, catching it, panicking, and ending up in da Bear end zone. Now, that's my favorite non-return ST play of all-time.

Ryan had a woeful game vs the Bears in Soldier Field when he had like 2 punts blocks due to bad handling wasnt it?
