Or he was, you know, telling the truth. It's as much his responsibility to coach Rodgers so that he can make the right call at the line as it is his responsibility to send in the play calls. That statement didn't in any way "protect his ass."

This thread is a perfect illustration of why I get frustrated with all the moaning and hand wringing and drama queening over the 6-10 season. We weren't all that far off. We had a lot of breaks go against us. This team isn't nearly as bad as the losing record would seem to indicate. Things will get better.

Had McCarthy not been so conservative in the red zone, we wouldn't have been in a position the have to make game winning field goals. Just sayin..

The Colts game it would be 2 plays both INTS returned for tds take 14 points away from the Packers and give the Colts 7 and the win goes the other way.

Taking 2 TDs from our side and giving 1 TD to the Colts is a little bit of a stretch. We dominated them that game.

The Blackmon TD is understandable, but we were still leading at that point when it happened.
