I'm not draft expert, so I can't tell you alot about most picks, only from what I've seen in mocks.

One thing I am pretty certain off though, is that someone is going to go for Stafford in the first 10 picks. I know he isn't that great, or at least, I don't think so, but QBs tend to be reached, especially in a shallow class like this one. I think Stafford will go 1st, 3rd (Hoping they'll trust Thigpen though), 8th (Garrard getting older and didn't do that great, O-line) or 10th. (Everyone sees Sanchez at 10, if Stafford is there, I can't see them passing up, although I like Shaun Hill)

Just my opinion.

I'll give you my thoughts

Stafford is going to wow people at his workout. His arm is as strong as Brett Favre's and John Elway's was.

Now Stafford and Favre or Elway comparisons stop there because Stafford is so erratic and inconsistent that it's mind blowing, but teams always fall in love with arm strength and I'm sure someone will. I think probably the Lions. Stafford is Jamarcus Russell and Sanchez is more or less like Brady Quinn. Quinn dropped and Russell didn't and I think Sanchez will drop and Stafford won't.

I agree he should drop, but I just don't think he will.

Chris Wells won't go near the top 15 let alone number five. Serious questions are going to be raised about his heart and whether or not he's in it for the love of the game or something else. He was never a top 15 pick and his combine was ok at best. I think all the backs drop in this draft.

Alex Mack is a second rounder probably. Never do teams take guards and centers in the top ten. Nick Mangold was a better prospect than Mack in my opinion and he went late round one. That's where Mack goes if he goes round one.

I wouldn't take Duke Robinson in the first two rounds. Highly inconsistent. He's overrated by many, but I'm fairly certain he's loss all his buzz since this poor performance against Florida.

I would take Alphonso Smith over Victor Harris.

Heyward-Bey's combine was amazing and he'll climb draft boards like Troy Williamson did. There is a debate with him. He wasn't productive, but a lot people feel Maryland under utilized him a great deal. Others think he's just an underachiever. I kind of sit in the middle, but I do believe he'll go higher than you have him because of his combine.

Wow... I'm surprised no one pointed out Aaron Maybin was not in there at all. Thanks for your thoughts, it can help me restructure my mocks for later.

What I want out of this draft is a versatile player that we can immediately throw into our defense. This is why I prefer Orakpo over BJ RAJI.. he's quick for a LB, can hit and he benches a max of over 500 pounds. I wouldn't mind getting Aaron Maybin either.. I just want that feared pass rusher in our 3-4 like demarcus ware in dallas. I won't mind BJ RAJI, but IMO we need to get a versatile LB especially if we pick up canty in FA.

look at this:

Jenkins - Pickett - Canty
Kampman / Hawk / Barnett / Orakpo

Woodson Harris (TRAMON NICKLE)

Nick Collins Atari Bigby - Full Strength

That has to give us a placement in the top 10 d

That lineup would have me more excited than ever

I know many people might think of me as an idiot, because I don't consider Maybin a surefire 1st rounder. I really haven't seen anything about him that reminds me of DeMarcus Ware.

First step, yeah, but with a 4.89 40-yard dash, that first step won't help you that much.

Anyway, you see what that got him at first, when he lost that, he became useless. I truly believe that he would've been a premier 3-4 OLB. Work on the run-stopping a bit and he would've been a great one.

Take in mind, I'm slightly biased here.

Anyway, I'm no scout or anything, but that bad 40 would make me somewhat hessitant. Especially if he already had a slow first 10. 4.9 Is very slow for a LB you're trying to convert to an OLB though, as he has to make some additional meters.

Zero2Cool (2h) : Raiders hired someone from the elderly home.
dfosterf (4h) : I'm going with a combination of the two.
beast (6h) : Either the Cowboys have no idea what they're doing, or they're targeting their former OC, currently the Eagles OC
Zero2Cool (23h) : Fake news. Cowboys say no
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Mystery candidate in the Cowboys head coaching search believed to be Packers ST Coordinator Rich Bisaccia.
beast (23-Jan) : Also why do both NYC teams have absolutely horrible OL for over a decade?
beast (23-Jan) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Aaron Glenn Planning To Take Jets HC Job
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Martha- C'est mon boulot! 😁
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Thank you
wpr (22-Jan) : Z, glad you are feeling better.
wpr (22-Jan) : My son and D-I-L work for UM. It's a way to pick on them.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Thank you. I rarely get sick, and even more rarely sick to the point I can't work.
wpr (22-Jan) : Beast- back to yesterday, I CAN say OSU your have been Michigan IF the odds of making the playoffs were more urgent.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : and there's the dagger
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooooooohhhhhh he missed!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Game not over yet
beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame getting rolled
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : Ohio State just got punched in the gut. Lets see how they respond
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame vs the Luckeyes, bleh
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Oh snap!!!
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Even Stevie Wonder can see that.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Nah, you see Lions OC leaving to be HC of Bears is directly related to Packers.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ohhhhhhh Zero is in TROUBLE
