Presumably the coaching staff doesn't believe Grant is a reliable receiver, or no doubt they would incorporate him more into passing plays.

They certainly didn't leap at the opportunity to re-sign him to a lucrative contract, and they only did so under the duress of the Favre situation. What did they trade for him -- a sixth round pick, correct?
