I don't mind this happening Jones was injured for half the year and is getting old. I won't say anything bad about him besides I am sure he feels betrayed by the Packers after taking all those cuts and that is why he signed with the Vikings, I think he would have been scary in Baltimore. People saying he took less to go to the Vikings is wrong because he is getting the $12 million from the Packers and the $7 million from the Vikes nets him $19 million this year.

I also am waiting on the Packers, I don't think Gutey is done maybe make a move on 1 of the 4 top Safeties left on the board. Maybe grab Devin White at LB. But wow is all I can say for the cap space in 2025 lol $112 million granted that don't have Love's contract and a few others.

Let's be excited I think people are going to be shocked and I can see Jacobs being a 2000 yard back (combination yardage) .

With all due respect, what the hell are you talking about? One million dollars is a shit ton of money. Even if he only manages to take home about $600,000 after taxes and agent commissions, that's about ten times the average annual household income in the United States. It's almost six times what I managed to pull in last year, and I had to work seven days a week for months on end to reach that milestone. To turn down that kind of money for a nebulous sense of goodwill would be an egregiously bad business decision. Hell, it would be outright financial malfeasance. To make hay while the sun shines is absolutely right the thing to do, especially in light of the increasingly murky economic outlook. Grab that money and run — and for the love of God, don't look back. You never know when that next tackle might be your last.
