You have insufficient rights to see the content. Two trades: Basically I take picks #25 & 41 and swap them for picks #30 & 31 while a Ravens 3rd round pick goes to the 49ers.
1.30 OL Barton
Started at Center before three years at LT, I believe he can stay at OT in the pros but most don't seem to believe so. He's got vice grib hands, with refs allowing holding more and more, I think he can play all 5 positions. Needs to get more consistent with his power.
1.31 S Nubin
The most instinctive Safety that makes the least mistakes in this draft class. Some knock him because he not the most athletic, but so what if he's not able to play single deep FS, most starting.NFL safeties can't and it's not needed unless your scheme runs that a good bit which most schemes don't.
Trade again, I don't like the players they had listed in this area and a RB I would have selected got selected one pick before. So trade back and still get the top group of players I would of selected next.
3.68 WR Legette
Not really looking for WRs, but I feel the WR group is clearly. A couple of big physical WRs to choose from, I went with Legette as I think he has the best run after the catch and deep ball potential, but it's a bit scare that while he was absolutely amazing last year, that was his only good year. Of course, they have had mostly crap at QB until finally getting a transfer.
3.88 DT Sweat
Okay, if Sweat drops this far, then I'm worried about potential red flags, as he's 6'4" 360lbs, and athletic, and dominated at times... if he almost drops out of the 3rd round then there are some red flags scaring teams off. Some rumors that he's weight at times goes way up, and might of been 380lbs at draft bowl game, and some rumors he didn't break out sooner due to some immaturity issues. But his physical potential is huge!
3.91 CB Hart
Long, athletic and can play press man coverage which supposedly is what the new defensive coverage would like to do.
4.104 FS Taylor-Demerson
Undersized but extremely athletic can play the deep FS role and also not afraid to hit, while there might be some concerns if he can consistently bang, might need to protect him from OL. Makes some mistakes but usually has the speed to make up for it.
4.126 RB Benson
I'd be willing to take Benson much higher, he has high pad level and needs to improve his pass blocking, but other than that he seems great. I admit I held off drafting RB sooner because I knew he was down here which is not true for a real draft.
5.168 OL Sundell
Started at Center until 2023 where he switched to LT. On a run first team, where they run the ball more than 50% of the time. Probably switch back inside in the NFL, 6'4ยฝ" 300lbs.
6.182 OT Rosengarten
Rosengarten is athletic like Bakhtiari (though at RT), but clearly even less power (and Bakhtiari needed more power)... so I could literally see Rosengarten going anywhere in the draft depending on how teams see athletic potential vs lack of power as he's a boom or bust. Some think he'll go in the 3rd round, personally I liked Bakhtiari and Tom better and they surprisingly didn't go until the 4th.
6.216 Edge Byrd
Smaller than Gute prefers at 6'3" 255lb but he seems very well rounded and like he could be a very good pass rush specialist. And something I really like is that he seems to be shockingly good at change of direction for his size. A mobile QB changes directions and he basically adjusted at the same time.
7.243 LB Gant
Was at Ohio State with the Packers new defensive coordinator, before transferring to start. Very good when he doesn't have to deal with OL. Probably a good STer.
7.251 LB Magee
Seems to be a jack of all trades, while he might dominate in any one area. Can be used in a lot of different ways.
